Question:
I have a tandem-axle equipment trailer with ST225/75D15 bias-ply tires and 6-lug wheels. The tires are getting old and the wheels are pretty rusty, so I'd rather replace everything at once. Can I switch to radial tires in the same size, and do you have them already mounted on wheels?

Hey Jason, welcome back! Yes, you can switch from your ST225/75D15 bias ply tires to ST225/75R15 radials. Since you're replacing the wheels too, I recommend the Kenda Karrier KR53 tire and wheel assemblies. You can choose from the following based on the wheel color you prefer:
-Kenda Karrier KR53 with Black Steel Wheel # KE64WV
-Kenda Karrier KR53 with Silver Steel Wheel # KE44WV
Both come mounted on 15" wheels with a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern and have Load Range E tires rated for 2,860 lbs at 80 psi. The radial construction is a nice upgrade for highway towing since the tires generally run cooler and provide more even tread wear than bias ply tires.
You'll just want to make sure the 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern matches your existing wheels and that the Load Range E capacity meets your trailer's requirements.
What kind of equipment are you hauling on your trailer?

Thanks Robin! I mostly haul a compact skid steer on the trailer. I'm going with the black wheels and replacing all four. Would you recommend getting a fifth one for a spare, or is it fine to keep my old bias-ply spare?
