Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Kenda Vezda P245/45ZR18 Extra Load Ultra High Performance All Season Tire. It's mounted on this Sendel 18-inch by 9-inch wide Black Machined Series T07 aluminum wheel, and has a 5 on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now, this Kenda Vezda tire is an ultra high performance all season tire. Provides a great ride and expert handling for year-round conditions.
This tire is formulated with a special silica compound, combining summer levels of wet and dry performance with strong cold weather and light snow capabilities. Now, this tire-wheel assembly is the same tire-wheel assembly that you'll see offered on the Nitro Bass Boat Trailer 18-inch upgrade option. Now, when you do upgrade it, we'll also require the wider fiberglass fender option for these wider tires to fit the trailer. Also, if you notice, the red tire valve cap right over here on the valve stem, that indicates that this assembly contains tire balancing beads that'll continuously and automatically readjust the balance of your tires. Now, the tire size, which is stamped on the sidewall, right here, 245/45ZR18.
The overall width on this tire is gonna be 9.6 inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated is 26.7, and the maximum load capacity on this is 1,764 pounds at 51 PSI. This tire does have a speed rating. It is speed rating Y, and that's usually stamped on the sidewall right after the tire size. You'll see the load index and then the letter Y.
Speed rating Y means it's 186 mile per hour speed rating. Now, the wheel it's mounted on, it's an aluminum wheel. It's durable, lightweight, and rust-proof. The wheel is a Sendel Series T07 V-spoke design. You can see has a nice glossy black finish, and then they do a machined finish on the face of these V spokes to give a nice shine to the wheel.
Front and the back of the wheel are all clear coated to protect against scuffs and scratches. Now, also, if you'll notice on the wheel, it does include this chrome bullet center cap. It gives a nice finished look to the whole assembly. That cap will install through the back of the wheel just like that. And before you put it on the trailer, you just put the cap right in there and then bolt it on to the trailer. This is a high-quality wheel, meets the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications. A few specs on the wheel itself, it's an 18-inch diameter. The wheel width is 9 inches wide. The bolt pattern we mentioned is a 5 on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. And the offset on this is a positive 10 millimeters, so it does pull the tire wheel a little bit closer to your trailer when it's installed. The wheel lug size, it uses a half inch by 20, and the pilot hole diameter right here that that center cap goes through is gonna have a measurement of 3.19 inches. The load rating on this wheel is 2,600 pounds. The delivery date was pushed back but the wheels arrived just in time for the mild weather! The wheels were just as expected out of the box. The video describing the specs was also extremely helpful.
