Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Kenda Karrier KR53 ST225/75R15 radial trailer tire with this 15-inch white spoke wheel. Now, this radial trailer tire does come pre-mounted on this 15-inch white spoke steel wheel with a six on 5 1/2-inch bolt pattern. So whether you're replacing a worn out setup or you're prepping for a new trailer, with this assembly, you're gonna save time and you're gonna be able to skip the hassle of separate mounting and inflation. The low-weight design of the KR53 is going to help improve your fuel economy on longer trips, and the highway-friendly tread's gonna keep your trailer tracking steady and straight. So, this is gonna be ideal for both short hauls and cross-country travel.
And as you probably know, the radial construction of this tire is gonna help reduce heat buildup and it's gonna promote longer tread life, especially on those extended trips. So, as I mentioned at the beginning of our time together, and as we have stamped here on our tire, this is an ST225/75R15. This is a load range D tire, meaning it has an eight-ply rating. The maximum load capacity is 2,540 pounds at 65 PSI. And this tire has a speed rating of N, indicating a maximum speed of 87 miles per hour.
Now, this included white steel spoke wheel features a blue and red pin stripes here around the perimeter and has a rust-resistant finish that I think is gonna stand up pretty well to weather and road grime. And just to give you some measurements of this wheel, as we mentioned, the diameter measuring bead seat to bead seat is 15 inches. The width of the wheel is six inches, and this has a six on 5 1/2-inch bolt pattern. And in case you don't know, the first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes, but the second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which the bolt holes sit. So, to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an even number of bolt holes as we have here, you simply measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the bolt hole directly across from it.
The wheel stud size is 1/2 an inch by 20. The capacity of this wheel is 2,860 pounds. This does not include a center cap, but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits the pilot diameter of 4.27 inches.
