1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Aluminum AM06 Series 13-inch black machine trailer wheel. Now, this lightweight aluminum trailer wheel is going to resist rust and it features a gloss black finish with machined spokes here at the front. So, this is gonna add just enough contrast to stand out without being over the top. Now, this wheel is unique in the fact that if you wanna add some color down the road, you can do that.
You can pick up inserts here, either red or blue, (insert clicks) and it looks like that's not gonna stay in there for me. Lemme see if this one will. That one will. Now, these wheels come with bolts that are in the spoke segments here, and you're just going to remove those bolts with this theft-deterrent tool that's going to come with these inserts. And then you just loosen and remove those bolts and then these will just snap in and then you'll just replace those bolts.
And then you're gonna be able to add a pop of color to your wheel. So, you can either pick up red or blue. Now, we do carry this wheel with the inserts as well if you want them. Now, this wheel is just gonna come by itself with no inserts, but if you wanna pick up the same wheel either with the red or blue inserts on your screen, I am including the model numbers there for you. So, you can just take the model number that you're looking for, pop it in the search field of our website, and that will take you to that wheel with the colored inserts that you're looking for.
But it's a nice feature that is included with this. If you pick this one up without the inserts and then sometime later you're like, well, I'd like to add a little splash of blue or a splash of red, you can do that, because we do carry these inserts separately. You'll get five of them to put in each of the segments here. So, again, a great feature that this wheel has. This wheel is rated up to 1,740 pounds.
Again, 1,740 pounds, which is gonna be great for most small cargo, utility and boat trailers. So, this is gonna be a solid fit when you want to carry gear without stressing your wheel or wondering about the load limits. The measurements of our wheel, the dimensions, the diameter measuring bead seat to bead seat is 13 inches. The width, again, measuring bead seat to bead seat is four and a half inches. Our bolt pattern is five on four and a half inches. The wheel bolt size is a half an inch by 20, and this does not include a center cap, but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits the pilot diameter of 3.19 inches.
