Rain, sun, or road grime—this wheel shrugs it all off. The aluminum build resists rust entirely, so there’s no paint to chip or finish to peel. It stays light, clean, and solid over the long haul without extra coatings or upkeep.
When you’ve got gear to move, you want a rim that’s up for it. This 14" x 5-1/2" aluminum trailer wheel handles up to 1,900 lbs, giving you solid confidence for everyday hauling without overstressing the setup. It’s strong enough to handle typical weekend loads with ease.
No measuring marathons here. The standard 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern lines right up with most light-duty hubs. Just bolt it down using 1/2"-20 wheel bolts and the 3.19" pilot diameter—it’s a straightforward swap that feels factory right out of the box.
This wheel doesn’t fade into the background. The gloss black surface and machined spoke accents catch light cleanly, while snap-in blue inserts bring out a bold touch of color. It’s a simple way to give your trailer a finished look that turns heads without going overboard.
Americana covers the AM06 for two years under a limited warranty. It’s built with customization in mind—select from metallic-looking inserts like Bright Ocean Blue or Fire Engine Red—while maintaining dependable quality where it counts.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Aluminum AM06 series black machine trailer wheel with blue inserts. This lightweight aluminum trailer wheel is going to resist rust and features a gloss black finish with machine spokes, adding just enough contrast to standout without being over the top. And as you can see here, this wheel does include easy-to-install blue inserts that are going to really add a bold accent to your setup overall. Now, the inserts you will have to install to the wheel, and I went ahead and installed all of them but this one, 'cause I just wanted to give you a brief demonstration of how easy these are gonna be to install.
So there will be bolts here where the inserts go. You will remove the bolts, and I went ahead and did that already, and then you just take the insert and you just slide it in just like that. This does come with a theft deterrent tool here that's going to fit those bolts. So then you're just going to insert the bolts, and it's gonna take no time at all to get these installed into place. Now, what's great about this setup is, if sometime down the road you wanna remove the inserts and just go with the standard finish here without the inserts, that's not gonna be a problem.
You can just remove the inserts, but we also carry red inserts, so you could swap it out. We sell the inserts separately, so you can see just how easy that is to install. Now, if you do want to get this wheel with the red inserts over the blue, I'm including the model number there on your screen, and just to show you what those red inserts are going to look like. And then if you want this wheel with no inserts, we have that option as well. And you see the model number on your screen for that.
Now, like I said, if you get this one with the blue, and then sometime down the road you wanna swap out with red inserts, we do sell the inserts separately. So very easy way to kind of get a pop of color with your setup. Now, this wheel is rated up to 1900 pounds, which is gonna be plenty for most cargo, small cargo, utility and boat trailers. And so this is gonna be a solid fit when you want to carry gear without stressing your wheel or wondering about load limits. And the overall dimensions of our wheel.
Looking at the diameter first, measuring beat seat to beat seat is gonna be 14 inches. Looking at the width, again, measuring beat seat to beat seat's gonna be five and a half inches. Our bolt pattern is five on four and a half inches. The wheel bolt size is a half an inch by 20. This does not include a center cap, but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits the pilot diameter of 3.19 inches. Now, if you do pick this up, we would love to hear back from you regarding how the installation went, and I would really like to see what this looks like on your setup with these blue inserts, so you can share pictures with us when you leave a review on this product page. But if you happen to have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Excellent Priduct!! Fast Shipping!
great looking rims
Quality wheel that looks good.
eTrailer has been outstanding to work with. Their customer service and delivery time line is excellent. I wanted a custom quality appearance to my equipment and received exactly what I wanted. I have purchased a few items from them and they have my recommendation.
The wheels look great! I do have one complaint about them. The red inserts come separate so you have to remove screws from the wheels. They are all very tight and the supplied wrench is of very poor quality. I literally broke 2 of them (both ends) trying to get one screw out of the wheel. I finally gave up and drilled the insert to go over the screw that would not come out. The tool is a hollow torx bit and not easy to find a good quality one somewhere else. There are 10 screws per wheel and I had to take out and put back 29 of them. It sucked. However, I got them mounted up on my trailer and they look great. If you buy these get ready for some tedious work installing the inserts.
They look great on my Scamp camper! I haven't put a mile on them yet but that will be the real test for a quality wheel.
Got them a day early, and WOW, they are absolutely beautiful. Love them, going on a food trailer, will send pictures when the trailer wrap is finished
Great looking wheel. Will look good on my Blue and Silver Skeeter trailer.
