Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a quick look at this ribbed U-bolt plate. Now, this ribbed plate uses two 9/16 of an inch diameter U-bolts to attach your three-inch diameter round trailer axle to your two-inch wide leaf springs, which are mounted to the trailer frame. And you can tell that this is designed for a two-inch wide leaf spring by measuring the distance between these two holes. And as you can see, when we line that up with the ruler we are sitting right at two inches. And of course that's gonna be the same on these holes as well.
So that's where we get that measurement for the leaf springs. Now, the two 9/16 of an inch diameter U-bolt are sold separately. And the overall length, let me line this up here for ya, we're gonna be sitting right at five and 5/8 inches long.
