Getting the geometry right matters in every suspension. At 4-1/2" tall and drilled for a 7/8" diameter bolt, this hanger fits cleanly in the setup and ensures the equalizer and springs move smoothly through their travel. The bolt (sold separately) locks in tight, keeping motion controlled and predictable.

Today we're going to take a look at the center hanger for the two inch wide slipper springs. This is a 4 1/2 inch tall hanger and a 7/8 inch diameter bolt hole. Now this center hanger works with multi-axle trailer suspensions that have two inch wide slipper springs. This hanger will suspend the equalizer on tandem or triple axle trailers. This is designed for trailers with 3,500 pound up to 8,000 pound axles, and again it's designed to fit two inch wide slipper springs. It does work with a 7/8 inch diameter bolt which we do sell separately on our website and it's usually listed on this product page as a related product. Now just to give you some overall dimensions on this, the overall height from very bottom to the top, we'll be looking at 5 1/2 inches tall.
The width on it overall is 3 5/8 and the inside width is right at 3 1/16. Then the depth on this hanger is three inches. The last measurement is I want to give you is the hangers are always listed by their height and this one is 4 1/2 inches tall and where that measurement comes from is the center of the bolt hole up to the top of the hanger, so if we do center on the top is going to be right at 4 1/2 inches tall. That should do it for the review on the center hanger for two inch wide slipper springs, 4 1/2 inches tall and a 7/8 inch diameter bolt hole.

Good quality hangers as strong as the originals. easy to weld right back in place with the bolt tolerance good as new. Old ones were very worn and elongated, causing much play and movement, especially on corners. Was very glad to find these parts. Etrailer was quick with the shipping, which I appreciated.
I bought these for my equipment trailer which I over abused to the point that the holes were slots an inch long. These spring hangers are very rugged well made and weld on quite easily. I would buy these again if I need them.
