When you’re running a 10,000-lb heavy-duty axle, you need hardware that can take the load. This U-bolt plate is built from solid 1/4" thick steel to handle the stress without flexing. It provides a strong connection point between your round, 5" diameter axle and 3" wide leaf springs, keeping everything tight and aligned under weight.
A loose or shifting suspension setup can throw off your ride and wear out parts faster. This plate works with two 5/8" diameter round U-bolts (sold separately) to clamp the axle firmly to the springs. The fit is dialed in for round, 5" diameter trailer axles and 3" wide leaf springs, giving you a precise and reliable hold where it matters most.
Good alignment starts with accurate spacing. This plate measures 6" long by 9" wide with bolt holes spaced 5" apart side-to-side and 3" apart front-to-back (inside to inside). The layout distributes clamping force evenly across the spring pack so the axle stays centered and secure mile after mile.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a U-bolt plate for 5 inch diameter round trailer axles with 3 inch wide springs. This is used with U-bolts to secure an axle to leaf springs which are mounted to the trailer frame. It's made from a durable steel construction. It attaches with two 5/8 inch diameter round U-bolts which are sold separately and available at E-trailer.com. This unit measures edge to edge going this direction about 9 inches and then going this direction, edge to edge, it measures about 6 inches.It fits round trailer axles with a 5 inch diameter. We can tell that by taking a measurement from this hole to this hole, closest edge to closest edge, and you can see that that measures 5 inches and it's designed for 3 inch wide leaf springs.
We can tell that by going edge to edge of the hole right here, and we can see that we got space in there for a 3 inch wide spring. It is designed for use with 10,000 pound heavy duty Dexter axles. The plates seem to be made well. I haven't had time to install them. So im hopeing they fit well. Shipping was poor through the postal service. They were supposed to be here on 9-2 but dident show up until 9-8. But I know you guys can't control Shipping. The product seems to be made well.
