When you’re running heavy-duty axles, you need suspension parts that can keep up. This kit includes left- and right-hand equalizers that are each 14-1/4" long and designed for tandem setups rated from 10,000 lbs to 15,000 lbs. The equalizers balance the load between axles, keeping the trailer steady and level so it tracks straight and smooth even under full weight.
Suspension movement puts a lot of stress on pivot points. This kit uses 6" long x 1-1/8" diameter equalizer bolts with matching locknuts for a secure, long-lasting connection. The large bolt size and precision-fit holes help the equalizers pivot freely without slop, cutting down on play and wear over time.
Your suspension is only as steady as the hangers that hold it. The included 4-1/8" tall center hangers with 1-1/8" bolt holes provide a stout mounting point between the axles. They keep the equalizers aligned and help maintain proper geometry for a consistent ride height and predictable handling.
Getting axle spacing right is key for tire clearance and smooth suspension travel. Each equalizer in this kit is designed to set up 38" between axles, matching Dexter’s heavy-duty tandem layout. It ensures the springs and hangers work together in balance, reducing strain and helping both axles share the load evenly.
Everything to hang your equalizers comes in the box—spring keeper bolts, spring-eye bolts, equalizer bolts, and matching locknuts. With the right sizes and lengths already matched, the setup goes together cleanly and tightens down solid for dependable performance mile after mile.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Dexter tandem axle trailer equalizer kit. Now this kit includes the equalizers, bolts and center hangers for attaching four three inch slipper leaf springs to your trailer frame with 10,000 pound to 15,000 pound heavy duty Dexter axles. Now you can use this with the kit number that you see there on your screen and that kit includes the front and rear hangers and the mounting hardware necessary for a complete tandem axle kit. So if you are in need of that I am including our item number for that kit as well on your screen. But this kit includes everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to get two four and one eighth inch tall center hangers with one and one eighth inch bolt holes.
And just to show you how we measure the height of these hangar, in case you are unaware you're just going to measure from the center of the bolt hole to the top of our hangar and that as you can see, gives us our measurement of four and one eighth inch tall on those center hangers. So you're gonna get two of those center hangers and then you're going to get two, one left hand and one right hand, 14 and a quarter inch long equalizers that will allow for 38 inches between your axles. So just to confirm that length with you on these equalizers that you can see, we are sitting at 14 and a quarter inches in length on those equalizers. And then you are going to get two four and a half inch long by half inch in diameter spring keeper bolts with the half inch in diameter lock nuts that I have attached to the bolts. And then two five and a half inch long by one inch in diameter spring eye bolts with two one inch in diameter lock nuts that I have attached there.
And then finally two six inch long by one and one eighth inch in diameter equalizer bolts with two of the one and one eighth inch diameter lock nuts that I have there attached. So this does not include the components for amounting axles to springs. Instructions are included and that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. The kit is pretty complete. I had to purchase the bushings for the spring eyes. Overall I'm happy with the kit.
Great price for the money. I had to cut these but for the price that’s was I was planning for. I had an odd 11.5 length so overes bigger and cut to size.
Just as needed
This particular part was the most perfect part for my application and it works like a million bucks!!!!
Didn’t not work with my cam super line trailer. Bolts were not the right diameter for the front of the spring, the wet bolt isn’t stated to have a locking square sink on it so it doesn’t sit flush. Rear small bolt worked just fine, ubolt plates didn’t fit the bottom of my springs even tho they were stated to be for my size spring of 2”. I would triple check everything on your trailer before ordering. Will be returning my second set I bought to do my other trailer as well and be souring parts elsewhere.

Exact replacement
This is exactly what I needed. After seeing the new ones, I realized how badly the old ones were worn. They fit perfectly, and arrived very quickly. These along with new springs, made the trailer pull like new again. I am going to order more for another trailer.
