Keeping your suspension square and level makes all the difference in how a trailer tracks. This tandem-axle hanger kit is designed for 2" wide slipper springs and includes everything to mount four leaf springs to the frame. With 4-1/4" tall front hangers, 3-1/2" tall center hangers, and 5-1/4" tall rear hangers, each piece lines up the suspension geometry so both axles share the load evenly. It’s a matched system that brings back smooth, predictable towing for trailers with 3,500- to 8,000-lb axles.
When the road gets rough, equalizers are what let one axle rise while the other stays planted. The 10-1/8" long swan-shaped equalizers in this kit keep your tandem setup working together, reducing bounce and frame stress. Each equalizer mounts on a 7/8" center hole and connects to the springs through 9/16" side holes, giving consistent, quiet motion that helps protect your gear and frame from uneven shocks.
Loose or mismatched hardware can ruin an otherwise solid suspension job. This kit includes the right mix of spring keeper bolts, shackle bolts, equalizer bolts, and locknuts, all sized to lock down the components securely. You get 3-1/4" long x 5/16" diameter spring keeper bolts, 3-1/2" long x 9/16" diameter shackle bolts, and 4-1/2" long x 7/8" diameter wet equalizer bolts with matching locknuts. Each fastener matches the hangers and equalizers precisely, so the suspension moves freely but stays tight over time.
Different axles and spring shapes need different spacing, and this kit gives you that adjustability. Depending on axle size, the setup achieves 4-3/4", 5", or 5-1/4" clearance between the trailer frame and axle. The included layout table helps you place hangers accurately for the spring type you’re using, making it easier to dial in the right stance and keep both axles level for consistent ground clearance and stable towing.

Poorly packaged and some of the bolts were missing when it arrived. Dew to a hole in the corner of the box.

Would have given it a 5 star but the package had a large hole in it and was missing 1 bolt and 3 nuts. Not a huge deal but I had to go to the parts store and buy replacements. Maybe better packaging on heavy items would save some trouble. Thanks

Added a third 7000 lb axle to our 14000 lb trailer. Easy to install, fit perfectly. Handles the weight better.
