Parts Needed To Switch From Double Eye Leaf Springs To 2 Wide Slipper Springs

Question:

I am swapping over from double eye springs to slipper springs. Also going up in axel size. Im running 2 dexter 8 lug axels. 27 x2 -5 leaf slipper springs . The question is my hangers are 29.5 on centers. And axels are 29.5 on center. Will this work and use a smaller slipper centerhanger. I see them 6inch. 9inchs. And 12 inches. Thanks

Since you are switching to 2" wide Slipper Springs # e67SR you will need an entire hanger kit like the Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit # AP202-H202. As your trailer had double eye springs the hangers are only 1-3/4" wide. These slipper springs used with the hanger kit will need the hangers placed 29-3/4" on center and will place the axles 34-1/2" on center. The 10-1/8" equalizers are the shortest we carry for 2" wide slipper springs.
