Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at a spring seat for a typical 3,500 pound two-inch square trailer axle. Folks, this is made of a galvanized steel. It's gonna weld onto a two-inch square axle, typically a 3,500 pound axle, but it could be a little different rating. It's gonna work with one and three-quarter inch or up to two-inch wide springs.
And what it's gonna do is it's gonna provide extra support and secure the positioning for the trailer axle. Now you're gonna need two of these spring seats for one axle. So again, make sure you change the quantity to make sure you're getting the right amount and all that whenever you're ordering. Overall for a length, I got right about three inches long. Again, this groove here in the center is gonna fit that two inch.
And as far as the width, if you can see, it's a little wider up top than it is down here. So I'll give you these two dimensions, but just keep in mind, depending on when these are made, the dimensions could be a little different than what I'm gonna get here. I'm saying about one and a half on the bottom, edge to edge, and then right here at the top, probably closer to 1 7/8 inches overall. Again, that's not gonna be too, too important as far as that width there, but just wanted to give them to you in case you need them. Folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our look together.
