You tow a loaded trailer, and each time you hit a bump the trailer shoves into your hitch, then pulls back. That back-and-forth doesn't stop. This coupler absorbs that movement, reducing shock transfer for a steadier pull over long hauls.
Expansion joints, gravel, and uneven pavement can turn a rigid connection into constant trailer bounce and push-pull feedback. This coupler uses patented polyurethane bushings to isolate and dissipate vibration and energy between the tow vehicle and trailer. You get less shock transfer at the connection point and a smoother pull you can feel from the first miles.
Long hauls and repeated jolts add up fast when vibration keeps cycling through the trailer and tow vehicle. By minimizing that vibration, this coupler reduces tire wear, cuts down weld-breaking stress, and lowers strain on the suspension system while also protecting trailer cargo. In real use, you see less harsh movement working through the whole setup over time.
Variable loads can push towing gear hard, especially when a trailer ends up overloaded. This coupler is built to handle overload situations without damage and carries a 36,000 lbs maximum towing capacity with an optimal tongue weight of 2,000-3,000 pounds and a maximum tongue weight of 4,000 pounds. It keeps doing the same job when the trailer load isn't light or perfectly consistent.
Some towing parts add one more thing to inspect, adjust, or service before the next trip. This coupler requires no maintenance and is built to keep performing in extreme desert temperatures and arctic cold. You bolt it on, tow, and skip the routine upkeep that can slow down frequent use.
When the trailer needs to be ready now, a complicated install just burns time in the driveway. This coupler installs in under 60 seconds and includes 8 - 5/8" 11x5 bolts, 8 - 5/8" lock nuts, and 16 washers. You can get it mounted fast without chasing down extra hardware first.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this BulletProof Hitches Flat Plate Mount Road Suppressor. Now this is designed to help reduce trailer bounce and road shock while you're towing. And this does use polyurethane bushings to help isolate vibration between your truck and your trailer. That means less jerking, less bouncing, and overall, a smoother towing experience.
Now we do have three options available. You can get our extreme duty, that's what I have here on my table. You can also get the heavy duty and you can get the medium duty. With the extreme duty, the towing capacity is going to be 36,000 pounds with an optimal tongue weight between 2,000 and 3,000 pounds, and a maximum tongue weight of 4,000 pounds. The heavy duty has a towing capacity of 22,000 pounds with an optimal tongue weight of 1,000 to 2,000 pounds, and a maximum tongue weight of 3,000 pounds.
And then the medium duty, the towing capacity is 14,000 pounds, and the optimal tongue weight is gonna be from zero to 1,000 pounds with the maximum tongue weight of 2,000 pounds. So, whichever option is going to work best for you, based on whether you need, the extreme duty, the heavy duty, or the medium duty, you can take the appropriate item number that you see there on your screen, pop that in the search field of our website. That will take you to that particular road suppressor that you're looking for, and you can add that to your order. But other than that, the units are gonna look identical, so that's why I only have this one here and then giving you the other options just because they are going to look identical with the measurements and everything. So one of the big benefits is that this is going to help protect your equipment and cargo.
So by cutting down on that vibration and shock, it's gonna reduce wear and tear on your trailers, suspension, tires, even the welds, and even the gear that you're hauling. Over time, that can really help extend the life of your trailer and what's inside of it. Installation's gonna be pretty quick and easy. This is going to mount using that flat plate design. It comes with all of the hardware that you see here.
This is 5/8 of an inch hardware, so you're going to get eight bolts, eight washers, and eight nuts here. So I just kind of have 'em in place here to kind of give you an idea of the hardware placement. Let me go ahead and give you some measurements here. I wanna measure the plate here for you. And again, this is gonna be identical with all the other capacity. So as you can see, the plate is six inches wide and right at seven and a half inches tall. Those mounting holes on center, see if I can line that up there. It's gonna be 4.5 inches. So you're gonna be able to easily confirm the fitment with those measurements before installing this. This is going to be compatible with sway control systems, which is great if you're already running one. Just keep in mind, this is not designed to be used with weight distribution hitches. Just so you're aware of that. So this is gonna be completely maintenance free. Once installed, you're not gonna have to worry about servicing this or adjusting this, it's just gonna continue to work, reducing vibration for the long haul. But if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out to us, because ultimately we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
