Installing this reflector is straightforward. The surface-mount design lets you fasten it directly to your trailer’s body without complicated brackets. Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number B472A. This is the Amber Reflector from Peterson Trailer Lights. The diameter of the reflector itself, not including the housing, just the reflector is going to give us a diameter of about 3 inches. The overall measurements measuring from outer edge to outer edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 4 5/8 inches. Going this direction, outer edge to outer edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 3 13/16 inches. Then the depth or thickness from front to back, that's only going to give us a measurement of about 5/16 inch. The mounting holes on the unit are going to give us a diameter of around 1/4 inch.
The reflector is going to sit on a rust proof, aluminum base. Then those mounting holes are going to be separated apart from one another on center by 3 15/16 inches. That's going to do it for today's look at part number B472A.

Not of the quality that one would expect from a military trailer type of reflector. Lens and body cannot be seperated.

Great service fast shipping even down to the Florida keys. I bought 40 of these reflectors. The web site was easy to figure out. I put the reflectors on my cargo trailer and sail boat. I am worried about people running into me after dark. The product seems to be made well, I hope it will hold up for many years. The web site should tell the buyers where or which country that item is made. I would like to buy made in U S A

Still looking good. I sold the trailer it was on a week ago, but they looked like new as it was being towed away.
