Keep the interior of your vehicle clean with this functional, custom floor mat. Rear floor mat has a rigid plastic core for durability, and its unique, rubberized outer shell grips carpeting while it channels and traps water and debris.
Features:
WeatherTech floor liners accurately and completely line the interior carpet of your vehicle, providing "absolute interior protection" for your car, truck, minivan or SUV. Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Hello neighbor, this is Curt with etrailer, and today we're gonna take a look at the WeatherTech custom floor mats for the second and third row of our 2025 Jeep Wagoneer. So protecting your factory carpet is a big deal, especially if down the line you plan to sell it or get rid of it. Just keeping all of that in good condition is a priority for a lot of people. And the factory floor mats, the carpeted factory floor mats, they're gonna give about the same coverage as we get out of the WeatherTech when it comes to these individual spaces. But as the video goes on, you'll find out that we're getting coverage in areas that we wouldn't have gotten with the carpeted ones. So as far as in front of our second row seats, we're gonna have these gaps here for our tracks to be able to move that second row seat forward and back.
It's gonna anchor into the same place as our factory ones did, but where I think the real big improvement is gonna be is gonna be this kinda sidewall coverage all along here, covering up this factory carpet. And we have this wall here going under the seat that's not gonna allow anything to spill underneath there because for anybody that's ever had to vacuum out or clean out the car, we all know that underneath the passenger and the driver's seat is generally the hardest place to get clean. So being able to keep a lot of that debris and mud and rain water and stuff like that out from underneath that front seat is really huge. We've also got a little bit of coverage coming up against our side paneling here, and what we don't have is that high wall going up over the door threshold. So what that's gonna allow us to do is as we clean this out, we can kinda brush things out outside the door, just making for an easy, quick cleanup.
The other great thing about 'em is that we've got these grooves, these higher ridges here, so as different things like debris, dirt, water, and stuff like that runs off of our shoes, it'll channel down into these grooves and make for an easier cleanup. Now in the seven-passenger version of the Wagoneer in the second row in between the seats, we've got this open area here, which they do not provide you with any factory coverage or factory mat to go over this. So it's really just exposed carpet that you're gonna wanna protect. And honestly, this would be a good place for it. We've got our cup holders there, so I could easily see some things like as you're reaching for drinks and stuff, stuff getting spilled, and having this kind of protection is fantastic.
And the cool thing is, is we do have a lip along each side so things aren't gonna overflow into this gap here onto the carpet. So when it comes to cleaning this space here, it's really flat. We can run it right down over this channel and it'll dump out into the second row. Now when we get back here into the third row, we're gonna have complete coverage all the way across, and we're gonna have that same kinda channel system as well. We've also got some snap-down anchors back here.
So really this isn't gonna be moving anywhere. Everything is shaped and contoured pretty much perfectly as we'd expect with a custom mat. We've got that big flat area in the middle that's gonna be easy to wipe either way to get into these channels and get that cleanup done. We do have some sidewall protection coming up along the sides. And really, generally just the coverage on this is really good. And since this is all one piece, we're not gonna have any gaps in here with the cleanup or any kinda gaps for any kind of debris or water or mud or any of that to fall through. And so all in all, this is gonna make for an easy cleanup. The downside to it being one piece is that when you're going to be taking it out for a deeper cleaning, you are gonna have to wipe it down really, really good first, because I could easily see while maneuvering this in and outta the vehicle, if you've got any debris on it, it could very easily spill out. But the upside to it being one piece is that wiping it down while it's in the vehicle is gonna be really easy and it's gonna give us the best coverage. And another great thing is that this isn't going to interfere with the seats at all if we wanted to drop our third row to get the larger cargo space. We can leave it right where it is and everything's gonna go down just fine. So the WeatherTech floor mat, being that it's a rubberized thermoplastic, it's gonna be very puncture resistant, it's gonna be waterproof, it's gonna be easy to clean, it's got a grippy texture to it, so it's not too slippery when you do get into it with wet shoes. And being that it's all one piece and it fits so well, I think this is an excellent option to protect the factory carpet in the second and third row of your Jeep Wagoneer. And if after watching this video, you've still got some questions about these floor mats, or if you've used them before and you've got an experience to share, go ahead and leave those in the comments below. Sharing your questions and your experiences with other neighbors just like you can help them make the best decision for themselves. Once again, this is Curt with etrailer. Thanks for stopping by.

Definitely not the best place for them to be floppy, Kelly. I put WeatherTech floor mats in my Silverado quite a few years ago, though a different style, and it did take a little bit for them to form themselves to fit perfectly. We get pretty hot in the summer hear in Missouri, so it wasn't too bad. Being winter now, it might take a little longer, but I think you will be happy with them in the long run. I definitely am with mine! ^___^ Are these just to get nicer ones than the factory mats or are you going to be getting muddy often? The factory ones in my Silverado were absolutely terrible so it was a huge upgrade for me.

Thanks for sharing the photo, that really helps. These are custom-fit mats, but with motorhomes like the Freedom Elite, there can be slight differences depending on the floor layout or trim level. Even though they’re listed to fit multiple models, Thor sometimes makes small changes around the passenger side footwell that can affect how that corner sits. What you’re seeing on that edge is usually from the mat not quite matching the contour of that specific floor shape. Sometimes letting the mat sit in the sun or a warm area can help it relax and settle a bit better, but if it’s still not lining up after that, it may just be a variation in that particular model. If you can share your exact Freedom Elite model, we can double check fitment and see if there’s a better option or confirm if that’s expected for your setup.

I had contacted WeatherTech. Can you please confirm if you have removed the carpeted floormats prior to installing them these floor mats?

The fit isn’t the best. And wish I had gotten the individual ones vs the one that covers the entire front floor. Outside of that they work great. They are dirty from snow and mud but they clean up great.

Its been about a year and the mat is doing its job as far as keeping the carpet looking new. My only complaint is the mat will not stay in place. It will slide very easy. Weather Tech sent some Velcro but it doesnt help in the movement. I have several strips on the underneath of the mat. This is all that Weather Tech offered as a fix. Dont know if I would purchase them again or not.
