Today we're going to be taking a look at part number RE13AB. This is the Optronics Trailer Reflector. This is a round acrylic amber reflector. It's very strong and durable. If we take a measure of the diameter, it's measuring from edge to edge, we can see that that's going to give us a measurement of about 3-1/4 of an inch, about 3-5/16. It's going to surface mount through the center mounting hole with a single screw, which is going to be sold separately.
If we take a measurement of the mount hole diameter, that's going to give us a measurement of 3/16 of an inch. It's going to feature a diamond reflector design, so you can kind of see that there on the reflector. It's got these little diamond patterns in it. It's also SAE and Department of Transportation compliant. That's going to do it for today's look at part number RE13AB..

I am using these reflectors on some home-built, wooden traffic control partitions at my business. They install easily with one screw and have sweet reinforced center which protects the reflector from being cracked if the screw is inadvertently over tightened. I used an outdoor version of a "lath screw" for installation. The flat screw head fit perfectly over the center hole.
