This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Optronics ID marker light for your trailer in clear smoked. You can take a look at the appearance of this guy and think, hey, you know, it looks cool, but I'm gonna need to be able to have those three marker lights. Now just by tapping it onto my battery here, you can see that we're gonna have a lot of visibility, so let's take a closer look and see what's special about it. The bar is right at 15 inches and your holes are gonna be a little bit over 14 inches away in spacing. What's really impressive about it is the process that Optronics uses when they're creating their dial lights. You can see that this guy right here is sonically sealed, so that means that's not glue that's going to eventually dry out.
These guys are bonded. So it's gonna be watertight as well, and you're gonna have three really, really intense red diodes on that same board. With the studio lights off, you can see how much light this guys are throwing out, and that gives me a peace of mind knowing that these diodes are going to throw out a lot more light, create a lot less heat, and use a lot less power. In general, if you're looking to customize the look of your trailer, you're going for that murdered outlook where you having blacked out lights and you got the whole set, that can give you a real cool aggressive look to your trailer, and you have the peace of mind of knowing you have Optronics diodes that are gonna hold up for the long haul. LIGHTS FIT AND WORK AS THEY SHOULD!!!
They weren't too difficult to install. The 1 big hiccup was thee weren't any notes on the back of the lights themselves. Mounting them on uneven (diamond deck walls)surface was not a good time. I used clear silicone chalk around the hole for the wire pass to seal it up.
