This 6-1/2" oval Optronics ONE Series backup light puts out a strong white beam while using just 0.26 amps at 12.8 volts. With a single LED diode, it’s designed to deliver the brightness of multi-diode lights but with less power draw and heat. The solid-state LED design lasts up to 50 times longer than an incandescent bulb, so you can forget about changing burned-out filaments or dealing with dim backup lights again.
If your trailer sees frequent dunking or wet roads, this light is made for it. The housing and lens are sonically sealed into one waterproof unit that keeps out moisture—even during submersion. That sealed construction protects the internal diode and circuit board from corrosion or shorting, keeping the light clear and reliable in harsh conditions.
Road shocks and vibration are no problem here. The surface-mount technology (SMT) used in the circuit board gives this light better heat distribution and stronger impact resistance compared to older designs. The polycarbonate lens and housing add even more durability, making it ready for off-road trailers, utility haulers, and heavy use without flickering or failure.
This recessed-mount light fits into a grommet (A70GB sold separately) for a clean look that sits flush with the surface. The PL-2 connector accepts a standard 2-prong plug (A45CB or A49PB sold separately) for power and ground, while sealing off the unused terminal from dirt and moisture. Once it’s in place, there’s no extra wiring fuss—just plug in and go.
When installed as a pair, this model is certified for backup light function in a 2-lamp system. It meets FMVSS 108 and CMVSS 108 standards, so it’s legal and safe for road use anywhere those regulations apply. Reliable lighting that checks every box—bright, efficient, sealed, and compliant.

I was disappointed in the posting of the progress of my order and the lack of time it took to start processing it but in the end, I did receive in on the day I expected it and

Found the products I needed to replace my horse trailer's back-up & tail lights. Placed the order easily and received them quickly. Was able to remove the old ones and install the new ones in minutes and now we have turn signals, brakes, tail & back-up lights again -- all working! Will definitely use this site again should we need any other parts.
I purchased a pair a pair of white grommet mounted LED lights that I installed in my blasting cabinet. The are bright and add the necessary additional light. They are powered by an, old but good, 12V battery that is hooked to a battery maintainer.
I replaced my internal horse trailer lights with these LED’s. They are brighter than the original lights and of course, use less battery.

Perfect performance so far. We are getting ready to upgrade our other horse trailer lights with these same lights.
Nice bright light. Used to backlight the skeeter cutout on my boat trailer.
Not the brightest light, but definitely bright enough for reverse/backup applications. I wish someone made a curved light/lems like this with multiple LEDs, but the only ones I’ve found are the flat lens oval lights, like those seen on industrial vehicles. This is still much better than the old style incandescent lighting that originally came on my trailer.
Perfect fit, easy installation. Used inside the horse area of a living quarters horse trailer.
