Older incandescent lights can fade or burn out quickly. This light uses 2 red LEDs that shine brighter while drawing less power—just 0.05 amps at 12V. You get a crisp, clean red glow that lasts up to 50 times longer than bulbs with filaments. It’s a simple way to boost visibility and reduce maintenance without stressing your wiring or battery.
Mounting doesn’t get much easier. At 3-7/8" long x 1-7/8" wide x 15/16" deep, this light lays flat against the trailer surface using mounting holes spaced 3" apart (center to center). Only a 5/8" hole is needed for the wiring base, and the 2-wire pigtail—one power lead, one ground—makes hookup straightforward. Hardware isn’t included, so you can use what best fits your setup.
No need to add a separate reflector. The red acrylic lens has a built-in reflex reflector that meets DOT and SAE standards, keeping things neat while maintaining compliance. It does double duty as either a clearance or side marker light, giving your trailer the visibility it needs day or night.
Rough roads and vibration can crack weak housings, but this light holds up. The durable polycarbonate base pairs with an acrylic lens for strength and clarity. It’s designed for dependable performance in typical trailering conditions—sturdy enough for daily use, yet lightweight and low-profile.
For clear, directed lighting where space or placement matters, the P2 rating delivers a 90-degree beam pattern—45 degrees to each side of centerline. That makes it perfect for use as either a clearance or side marker light depending on where you mount it. If both functions are needed, just add another light for full coverage.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a LED clearance or side marker light with a built in reflux reflected. This small rectangular trailer light functions as both a clearance light and a side marker light when properly mounted. It is an LED light. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter, and they're much more efficient. With LEDs you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments. This unit contains a red lens with the built in reflux reflector.
It has a black mounting base and it mounts directly on the surface of the trailer, hardware not included. You can gain access to the mount holes by taking the lens off and you can do that by placing a flat blade screwdriver right here and just prying the lens off.Now in order to get it to mount flush on the surface of the trailer you will need a hole cut out for the wiring base to pass through. I took a measurement of that, and that will require a minimum of a 5/8th inch diameter hole for this area here to pass through. It's a two wire design, so you have your white wire which is your ground wire, red wire which is the power lead. It is SAE approved and it is a P2 rated light.Taking a look at the overall dimensions real quick, starting with the overall length, measuring from edge to edge going this direction, I got a measurement of 3 and 7/8ths inches. Edge to edge going this direction I got a measurement of about 1 and 7/8ths to 1 and 15/16ths inches.
The overall depth from the very back of base right here to the front of the light is about 13/16ths of an inch deep. The distance between the mount holes is three inches on center, and this unit contains a total of two diodes. We're gonna go ahead and hook it up to power that way you can see what it looks like with power running to it. We'll also turn off our overhead light so you can see it in a lower light setting. So you can see here it sends out a bright, consistent signal. Again, this light contains a total of two diodes, so the multi diode design really helps optimize the overall light output, and with the light on you can really see the reflector that's built into the lens of the unit. Really nice design. That's gonna do it for today's look at the LED clearance or side marker light with the built in reflux reflector..

Your company provided exactly the repair parts I needed for my Curt hitch. Was also time to change the red or yellow clearance lights on my motorhome. You had exactly what I needed. Parts arrived quickly and I've already installed them. Thanks for your help.
Great service and great product.
I bought this side marker light to replace the side rear one I busted on my motorhome. when I made a careless mistake of turning too sharp when exiting a gas station. It is make by the same manufacture who made the original side marker lights on my RV, with the same exact style, the only difference is it has LEDs for the light.
If you are looking to upgrade your side marker lights to all LED, I do not recommend replacing the whole side marker fixture.
If the ones you have are still in good shape, replace only the incandescent 194 bulb, with Phillips 194R Ultinon Red LED bulbs. If you are placing the amber clearance markers use Phillips 194Y Ultinon Amber LED bulbs. It will save you money and labor. One other note on the Phillips 194 Ultinon bulb, you can safely remove the top of the bulb to expose the LED to give more clearance and increase the brightness.
Exact fit.
