Spot on what I needed for a 10k Dexter axle. The trailer sat for a year in the desert so all the rubber components are getting replaced and oils topped off. Fast shipping and amazing customer service!

The rubber is to hard, and the plug was 1/16 to large in diameter to fit. I couldn’t even beat it in with a hammer. I had to use the old plugs. Note: these plugs were specified by the manufacturer for my axle.

Tips for Inserting the Dexter Oil Hub Plug # 46-52
Rubber is it's softest when it is warm. I would try submerging the plug in hot water to get it as soft as possible. That should help you be able to slide it in. Putting a little bit of oil on the plug would help as well.

I went and pulled a Dexter Oil Hub Plug # 46-52 from our warehouse to measure it and found it to be .55 inch where it inserts into a cap.

Rubber Cap Solution for a Momentary Push Button Switch on a RV Roof Vent
While there is not a rubber waterproof cap made for the Momentary Push Button Switch for RV Power Roof Vents # DG52451VP I do have another solution that'll work just the same. All you'll need to do is use the Dexter Oil Hub Plug for 8,000-lb to 15,000-lb Hubs # 46-52 and cut either end off. This plug has a diameter of .55" and the momentary switch has a .5" diameter making this a great fit. This rubber plug will also do a great job of creating a weather-resistant barrier between the...

Replacement Oil Cap Plug for AL-KO 10,000 lb Axle
Oil Caps can have different size plugs. If your cap is the OEM cap, then the Dexter Oil Hub Plug for 8,000-lb to 15,000-lb Hubs # 46-52 is what you need. If you don't have the factory cap, I recommend the # RG04-250 as the complete replacement that is a confirmed fit for your hub so you don't have an oil leak. We don't have just the replacement plug available if you have the # RG04-250 cap.
