Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Demco 13-inch right hand, passenger side single servo hydraulic drum brake assembly. Now this hydraulic drum brake assembly is designed for use with the surge type trailer brake actuators. It's a sturdy, corrosion resistant steel construction, and it does use the stainless steel spring hardware, zinc-plated wheel cylinder, and that wheel cylinder is a single or a uni-servo design, which means it's a single plunger design. This type of design delivers 15 to 20% braking in reverse. Now this is a manual adjustment.

If you look down the bottom, you can see the adjustment wheel right here. It will require a periodic manual adjustment. Now the bolt pattern, you can see that it's designed to fit on, is a 4 on 4.8 inch bolt pattern. And that measurement is if you took one of the holes and measured from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. Now the mounting bolts to install this is not included.

Those are sold separately. The configuration, again, we called this a right hand, passenger side assembly. The way you can tell that is if you look on the very back, backing plate right down here, you can see it's stamped right for the right hand side. Now, we do also sell the left hand side, driver's side assembly if you do need that. That's part number DM34ZR.

And again, the diameter on this, when we say it's 13-inch, that's measuring from this shoe to this shoe. So I happen to have a 13-inch size ruler, and you can see it'll go edge to edge on the ruler. And the wheel size that'll work on this assembly is a 16-inch up to a 22-and-a-half inch wheel.
