Back Up Without Locking Up: Manual Reverse Lockout
Backing up a loaded trailer can be tough when the brakes keep grabbing. This actuator’s manual reverse lockout makes that problem go away. Just rotate the tab on the side of the actuator to the left before reversing, and it keeps the inner slide from telescoping. That means no dragging brakes or frustration when backing into a tight spot. When you’re done, swing the tab back and you’re ready to tow forward again.

Smooth Braking Power: Composite Master Cylinder
The composite master cylinder uses glass-reinforced nylon that resists rust and corrosion far better than metal versions. Its large reservoir keeps plenty of brake fluid on hand for your hydraulic drum brakes, while an automotive-style diaphragm cap seals out dirt and moisture to protect the system from contamination.
Long Life Under Load: Self-Lubricating Lining
Inside the actuator is an acetal copolymer lining that acts like a bearing surface between moving parts. It’s self-lubricating and extremely durable, which means no greasing required and smooth telescoping action every time you brake. This same material is used in automotive and bearing applications, so it’s built to hold up under heavy use on trailers that work as hard as you do.
