If you’re ready to replace worn drum or electric brakes, this DeeMaxx 13" disc brake kit gives a serious boost in stopping power. The one-piece hub-and-rotor assemblies come pre-loaded with inner (25580) and outer (02475) bearings, races, seals, 5/8" wheel bolts, and stainless steel calipers. The result is smoother, more controlled braking with less maintenance and far fewer parts to fuss with over time.

Saltwater, slush, and road salt can destroy ordinary brakes fast. These hub-rotors and brackets use DeeMaxx’s Maxx coating that lasts over 1,000 hours in salt spray testing—far longer than zinc or Dacromet finishes. The stainless steel calipers and drainage holes in the hat section help shed water and resist corrosion inside and out, making this setup ideal for wet environments.

Heavy braking generates heat fast. Each vented rotor dissipates heat efficiently, and DeeMaxx takes it further with extra drainage holes that let air flow through to reduce fade. This design helps prevent uneven rotor wear and keeps braking consistent on long grades or during repeated stops.
Everything needed to upgrade one axle is included—two Maxx coat hub-rotor assemblies, two stainless calipers, mounting brackets, bearings, races, seals, grease caps, wheel bolts, and lug nuts. The calipers even have laser-etched bleeding instructions right on the housing so you don’t need to look anything up mid-job. Bolt it on with basic tools and get back on the road faster.

This kit is rated for 8,000-lb axles with #42 spindles, a 4-bolt brake flange, and an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern using 5/8" wheel bolts. It’s made from high-quality, automotive-grade materials and backed by a 7-year warranty—proof that these brakes are built to perform season after season.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the DMAX 13 inch hub and rotor assembly kit with the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern and the 5/8 inch size studs. And these are for 8,000 pound axles. And these do have a matte coating and a stainless steel coating. Now this kit itself will let you upgrade your trailer from drum to disc brakes for superior performance. It will include everything I have laid out here on the table and we're gonna go through all the parts and we'll start with the hub and rotor assemblies.
It'll give you two matte coated cast iron hub and rotor assemblies. And they do have the bearing races pre-installed in them. Comes with the two inner bearings, comes with the two outer bearings, the two grease seals, the two easy lube grease caps 16 you can see of the 5/8 inch by 18 size lug nuts. We mentioned the calipers right here with the brake pads in them. They are stainless steel calipers and as they come with the brake pads and the bolts to attach them and then the caliper mounting brackets comes with two of those.
Now this kit will also require a hydraulic brake actuator that's rated at 1500 PSI or above and brake lines to activate breaks. Those items we do sell separately on our website. Now this is excellent for occasional use in salt water or areas with a lot of snow slush and road salt. We mentioned the max coat finish. It is a corrosion resistant finish.
It's on the hub in the rotors and the brackets and they need a salt spray rating of over a thousand hours. We mentioned the calipers. They are stainless steel calipers which are rust proof. And if you notice on the hub and rotor assemblies on the hat section right here, you'll see these holes along the hole outside of it. Those holes are drainage holes.
What that does, it allows any water to drain easily further minimizing any corrosion. Now this kit will offer dramatically shorter stopping distances and smooth control braking. The brake pads right here that are in the calipers they are ceramic brake pads. They increase the stopping power. The piston diameter on the inside here it is a two and a quarter inch diameter stainless steel piston that'll provide fast responsive braking. Now this does require minimal maintenance, saves you time and money. One of the neat features on this, I just wanna zoom in and show you on the front of the caliper right here. If you notice they actually laser etched the instructions on there to take the guesswork out of installing and bleeding brakes. So right there you have everything right in front of you. Now we mentioned the one piece hub and rotor assemblies. They do reduce the chance of uneven rotor wear. They are a vented design. If you look here, the vents that go all the way around them, it's then the design will dissipate heat faster, prevents premature brake pad wear. Now this kit is designed that's designed to fit a Dexter 8,000 pound axle with the number 42 spindle. The wheel size used on this will be 16 inches and larger. We mentioned the bolt pattern eight on six and a half inches. The wheel bolt diameter 5/8 of an inch. That uses the 5/8 inch lug nuts, rotor diameter of 13 inches. And if you look at the caliper brackets, you can see the four holes in those caliper brackets. So that tells you that these are gonna mount to a four bolt brake flange configuration on your axle. But that's gonna do it for a look at the DMAX 13 inch hub and rotor assembly kit with the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern and the 5/8 inch size studs for 8,000 pound axles.
