Today we're taking a look at the Yates Bowel Bell for boat trailer rollers. This attaches to the end of the bowel roller on your trailer to prevent damage to your boat when loading and unloading. It ensures that your boat does not scrape along bolts or roller brackets. It's constructed of a black thermal plasticized rubber that's TPR technology. It's a non-scratching material. It's stronger and more durable than traditional rubber and softer and more pliant than polyurethane.The product's made in the USA.
This is designed for a 4-inch wide bowel roller on a half inch diameter shaft. The diameter of the unit at the widest point is five and one quarter inches. I got this larger diameter end bell to make sure that my jetski would not bottom out on the metal frame that holds the bow roller. Worked out well and from the feel of the material they should hold up well.
As far as items go, I got exactly what I purchased and delivery was on time. These rollers are high quality (they were recommended by a friend who uses them) . I am still having issues trying to order things without the computer kicking the purchase back though.
These bow bells look great. They did not come with washers. Installation took 5 minutes.

I purchased this item to shield the fiberglass hull of my new Achilles RIB from contacting a keel roller bolt. This bow bell is deep enough to hide the keel roller bolt, stiff enough not to collapse and allow a hull/bolt collision and just soft enough to prevent the bell from marring the fiberglass.
