It's made of a super heavy-duty rubber, and it's 6 1/2-inches long with a 1/2-inch center shaft. So, folks, this is gonna replace one, quantity one of your keel roller on your boat trailer. It's gonna make ease of loading and unloading of your boat. It supports the bottom of the boat as it sits on the trailer, and the V shape here offers extra support for those deep holes.
This will also help absorb road shock while the boat is being towed. Overall, when everything's pushed together, I was getting a length of 6 1/2-inches long and an end diameter of 5 1/4-inches wide. The product quality is excellent. My existing keel roller was a half inch wider (this is 4.5 inches) I added two galvanized 5/8 inch washers to the ends (a good idea anyway) and fits very well as a replacement.

Quality product. Changed all rollers on my trailer to Yates rollers and used this setup to create an additional keel roller. Boat moves like it is on a greased skid!! Slick, love the rollers.

I have an '85 trailer which has always been fitted with Atwood rubber rollers. Until the last few years they were fine and then something changed with the durability of the rubber. I was changing rollers every season. Last year I went with CE Smith and I have an entire season of traveling and many launches on them. So far I see only minimal abrasion on the center rollers beneath the keel. They look good and I look forward to them lasting a while. I will most likely buy them again. I give them 4 stars for durability with the possibility of that going to five if they last a couple more seasons.

Installed them, haven't had a chance to try 'em out yet, rebuilding an old trailer that was probably around when Jesus was a child. These rollers look great and I am sure will function just as great... VERY HAPPY WITH THEM. Ordered them and they came faster than the ship date indicated that is always a plus.

I installed it yesterday, the day it arrived. It was used today and it appears to be working very well.
Perfect for my new Venture bunk trailer that didn't have a roller. My hull has two tunnels and when loading and unloading it would bottom out occasionally on two bolts on the A frame section of the trailer. The roller now makes that impossible.
One suggestion: when mounting the assembly is not to tighten the upper nut too much or it will make the roller bind up and prevent it from turning.

This roller is still in perfect condition after 6 times unloading and loading 26 foot by 10 foot heavy Stancraft cabin cruiser. Other black rollers disintegrated after one use. Customer Service was excellent. I highly recommend etrailer and CE Smith.
good quality and much better than cheap rubber roller from amazon. Also the 5/8" hole was consistent all the way thru and not just fitted with an end bushing like the rubber one which totally failed in the center
I Installed yesterday, the day it arrived. It saw its first test today, and it passed the test. My boat was properly aligned with the roller on the bow winch.
