Today we're going to be taking a look at the Deka Battery Terminal Cleaning Brush for Power Drills, the quantity of 5, part number DW05516. It's also available as one, part number DW05516-1. Cleanup is easy with this handy battery terminal cleaning brush. It simply fits into any standard drill. You can use it to clean your battery terminal studs with the power of rotation. We're here at our camper. As with most batteries outside, you want to periodically keep your terminals and studs clean. We're go ahead and clean our studs up.
We'll first go ahead and disconnect them, of course. Now we can go ahead and brush away the rust and corrosion. Pretty clean. You can even use it on your terminals, too. That's going to complete our look at the Deka Battery Terminal Cleaning Brush for Power Drills, part number DW05516.

THE METAL MANDREL MAKE THEM IDEAL FOR USE WITH SMALL BATTERY POWERED
IMPACT DRIVERS AND DRILLS.
THEY COULD BE USED ON SIDE TERMINAL BATTERIES BY USING A SHORT LENGTH OF
A BOLT IN THE BATTERY TO ACT AS A PILOT SHAFT TO CENTER THE BRUSH.
GREAT PRODUCT. WE NEED A SIMILAR PRODUCT WITH A CENTERING MANDREL
TO CLEAN THE VEHICLES BATTERY LEADS.
I work with AAA Battery Service. These brushes do a spectacular job cleaning up side terminal batteries. I have never run into a problem with our tester not completing a test. I use older brushes to clean the battery bolts after they get bent over from my excessive pressure. Newer brushes clean the inside of the terminal mating surfaces.
If you own a golf cart and need to clean the battery terminals, this is the perfect tool. Can even to the cable ends by leaving them on the stud.
Golf cart mechanics should not be without one..

Wires came out randomly until few left and in some cases whole tooth came out at a time. Great design for cleaning golf cart post but just didn’t stay together on a low speed low power drill

I have worked on golf carts for many years and most of them are powered by batteries and they always need cleaning. This little brush in the end of an impact driver does a wonderful job. Got batteries to clean with bolt down terminals, GET ONE or two
