Accelerated rubber breakdown, which is commonly seen on tires as cracking and dry rot, will affect your spare tire even though it remains stationary on the back of your vehicle or trailer until you need it. The rubber of most tires contains protective waxes that are released to the surface when you drive on it. Having recently acquired a car trailer, I decided to make it a little more resistant to anyone who might pilfer it while I was not there to defend it. I've always been leery of leaving my equipment un-attended at rest stops, hotel parking lots, etc., while on the road.
I installed a Redline wheel lock set for the four wheels, and a Master Lock Spare Tire Lock to protect my rollers.
I mounted the spare wheel and tire on a Fulton Trailer Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier. Though intended to mount on a bumper or the outer side of the trailer tongue, I elected to mount mine on the inside of the tongue so as to afford more clearance between the mounted spare and my truck's rear bumper in the event of having to jack-knife the trailer when backing into a tight space. The mount looks good, has just the right offset and is quite sturdy.
The spare is now secure and covered from the sun's rays by a CE Smith tire cover which fits perfectly, is tough and nice looking.
The products I used were shipped promptly and are of excellent quality. The communication with the staff was also excellent!

It’s on my flatbed trailer, this spare tire cover works great, it was easy to install, and durable. Before buying this cover by spare tire used to dry rod from the weather after about two years of being out in the weather now it’s a year later you can even tell it’s not a brand new spare tire.
Very nice quality! Tough material, should last a while.

Great - no problems!
I received the Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier and Spare Tire Cover (29 Diam X 9-1/2 Wide - Black) I ordered in a timely fashion. I was able to keep track of my purchase until it was delivered. I am extremely satisfied with both products. Both products are made of high quality material. The Tire Carrier was very easy to install (less than 10 minutes). I would highly recommend both of these products.
The spare tire cover did not fit my spare. The measured dimensions of my spare, 29" dia. and 9 1/2" wide, matches the dimensions given in your product information yet I could not get the elastic band to fit over the tire. I need to return the spare cover.
Package arrived quickly and was well boxed. Upon examining contents I was surprised as to the quality of product for the low price I paid. Cover fit tire perfectly and looks great. I am very pleased with the merchandise and great service.

Well constructed tight fit for a ST225-75-R15 tire and mod wheel.
The spare tire cover on our five year old R-Pod blew away on our first trip out this year. It was pretty beat up and shrunken by UV, so I bought this replacement and was amazed at how quickly I received the order. The cover fits perfect, the price is right, and the quality is as good as I've seen in some more expensive items.

The tire size (15 inches) was not shown on the product page but the dimensions shown seemed to fit my measured 16 inch tire.
Thinner and cheaper quality than expected,, its a lot thinner than others, and just vinyl, no liner but will see over time how it holds up, want to use to block UV from utility trailer tires
I could not find a simple tire cover at the chain stores and auto parts. Found it here and ordered one. It fits fine and was reasonable with pricing. I will order another when this one wears out.
The company made it very easy to order and was very knowledgeable on the product. They kept me informed when the product was going to be ship and on the arrival time. This is the second time I order this spare tire cover, that is how much I like the item.
The product page did not say what size tire the cover would fit. I bought it because it said it would fit a 29 inch diameter. On the product package it says it is for a 15 inch tire, I need one to fit a 17 inch tire. It does fit but it is hard to get on and off. If the product page would have said the tire size I would have bought a larger size.

After a year of sitting outside in the sun and fog, my tire cover still looks brand new. I found that I needed to put the vent not sure what its called the flap where the piece that forms the cover joins at the bottom so that when I go through a car wash, the water will drain out. I also need to make sure then that the cover is properly in place. Such a minor problem for such a good value.
