When heavy gear or equipment adds weight to the front end, steering and braking can feel off. The Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System provides up to 14,000 lbs of added capacity to keep the vehicle level and steady. Each hollow rubber spring works with the factory suspension to improve stability, maintain control, and help prevent sag when weight is added up front.

Bumpy roads and uneven loads can beat up your suspension over time. Timbren’s hollow rubber springs act as shock absorbers, taking the brunt of rough terrain so your ride feels smoother and more stable. The progressive design compresses easily for small bumps but stiffens as weight increases, cushioning light loads while offering strong support when things get heavy.

A sagging front end can throw off headlight aim and steering response. These rubber springs automatically work to lift the front back to level when under load so traction, steering, and braking stay consistent. Even with heavy attachments out front, the system helps maintain proper alignment for a safer, more predictable drive.

Cornering or hitting off-center loads can make a truck lean or sway. Timbren’s springs work independently on each side so each one only engages when needed. That independent movement cuts down on body roll in turns, improves balance with uneven loads, and keeps the vehicle feeling planted through curves or sudden maneuvers.

Getting extra suspension support doesn’t have to be complicated. This kit includes two hollow rubber springs, vehicle-specific brackets, and all necessary hardware. The brackets bolt directly to existing frame mounts above the front axle—no drilling required. Once installed, the system works automatically with your suspension for reliable support whenever you need it.

A+++ Excellent product and customer service. Bought both front and rear suspension enhancements and worth it. Highly recommend.
The timbrens actually did what they were suppose to do. However, once I starter driving out west I notice the timbrens were riding on the axle which cause the speedometer to jump around depending on the road. I would recommend them if you are hauling or towing a camper or RV. I was going to contact etrailer about maybe removing a spacer for one set however the other set came as one unit. The bottom line is the Timbrens does stabilize your load for safe travels. I will be contacting etrailer soon to assist in correcting the problem...Road trip from Idaho,Colorado,Wyoming, and Utah were beautiful... Thank you etrailer
I like using Etrailer because i can call and talk to a person. These front ones went in pretty easy just like directions said. and they got rid of the bad bumping sound in my front end after hitting a bump. smoothed things right out.
Installation was not too hard, Install Videos explain all steps in great detail. BumpStops arrived in excellent condition and was delivered in a timely manner
I had a problem with getting front sumo springs relative to the rear sumo springs I purchased earlier; however, the staff at etrailer were very helpful in getting me a suspension enhancement component made by timbren which I just installed. I believe the timbren supports are going to do the job I was looking for and make me just as happy as I am with the rear sumo springs. You will notice from the photos the supports make direct contact; however, the pictures were taken on a unlevel surface and when the truck is on a level surface the direct contact is equal on either side. Also, the timbren supports provide substantially more weight capacity in the event I choose to haul my scooter on the front end of the truck. Thanks again Derek S and etrailer staff I am very pleased with the service, customer relations and professionalism experienced when ordering my parts. Thank you, Bobby (Louisiana).
I installed Timbren’s front and rear on my 2020 F53 chassis motorhome. They are by far the best suspension upgrade I have done. I had previously installed Super Steer Trac Bar, Radius Rods and Safe-T-Plus, which had helped, but not as much as I had hoped. The Timbren’s finalized the package and it drives good now.
Easy install, didn't even need the brackets for my application. Really helped with sidesway in the wind and seems to help the front from dipping with extra weight. Haven't tried plowing snow yet but I think they will make a major difference
Ok it’s been a year since I’ve had the springs and I’m impressed. With how easy the install is and what you get out of it these are truly amazing. No more “squishy” feeling when towing my 22fy travel trailer. The ride is a little bumpy but I don’t care. I’m glad I found these.
For me surprisingly easy to install at 67 years old. Had immediate handling improvement and steering control.
Have them on several trucks now and couldn't imagine running snow plows without anymore.
The front Timbren are working very good. The rear not so good
Install was straightforward. Hardest part was getting the old bump stops out. Sway was greatly reduced on the Interstate and the rock and roll by passing semis was greatly reduced. Wish I had bought these sooner!
Pretty pricey but well worth it. Put these all the way around at the same time as new rear leaf springs on our c7500 topkick and it made a huge difference. It's a top heavy bucket truck and it would rock and roll just turning a corner to the point it was downright scary. Now thats greatly reduced. They also smoothed out the ride especially when loaded more than I expected.
Install was simple, perfect fit. Worst part was grinding out the rivet on the old bracket
These bumpstops really work, they stop the front end vibration before it travels through the shocks and springs, for a smooth ride
I haven/t installed them yet. I think I should have gotten a discount for the age of the "box"s the Timbrens were in. May be a credit ,, Brad
I love these things. They are worth the upfront expense. I have them on two ¾'s, one ½, and a minivan for road trips. This particular set is full-time active up front. I have a 2" leveling kit and I'm in em no matter what. Zero complaints though. Solid performance through all aspects. I don't run any front-end attachments.
I have a 2006 Kodiak 2 wheel drive. Timbrin firmed up the front end to much. There in full contact with the spring. I think it to stuff and I might be removing them. The install was straight forward. Parts are as expected and quality of Timbrin is great. Just not enough cush..
Great ordering, shipping time, cost, and supporting information. We added a snow plow and the product did everything as advertised.
Perfect, did exactly what we were looking for.
Work well! Truck rides a bit rougher but happy with them!
Worked excellent for what I'm using it for. Just a reminder for people it will change your ride.
I just installed the TFF150F’s on my 2006 F150 4X4, to help support a Fisher minute mount 2 snow plow. No snow right now so might need to update this review later. For now, the review is focused mainly on my first impression of the product, the installation, and Timbren technical support. I think they make a good product, but the instructions leave a bit to be desired. (Dinged 1 star). The tech support was ok, but I detected a touch of attitude... implied it would be no problem for a professional shop. Could be, but I am very mechanical and can easily read and follow instructions.
The first issue that is a bit difficult is inserting the mounting studs inside the frame. Tight quarters, limited instructions make this difficult but manageable.
The passenger side was accomplished without too much difficulty. Difficulty getting the drivers side installed led me to call the tech support number in the box. Someone picked up instantly and told me that it was not unusual for the drivers side to be harder to get together. The sway bar is in the way, so the sway bar links need to be undone on both sides so that the sway bar can be pivoted up a bit. The technician seemed surprised that this was not in the instructions. I checked, it is not. Took maybe an hour and a half to install not counting the overnight pb blaster soak for the sway bar link nuts. Will update after the next snow!
I have to be honest with this, I was super happy that I was getting the right parts for my 2006 ford F150 truck as I just install a new snowplow. However when the product was being installed the both right and left sides could not be fitted without drilling extra holes in the OEM of the truck. Then after finally gettin the right side up the left side was locked onto the sway bar. This unit was way to close and would not fit the left side no matter what they did in the shop. I just got frustrated and toss this junk in the trash and call it a lost.
I received my Timbren kit for my 2007 F-150 quickly and everything looked good. Customer service was excellent and will definitely order from etrailer again. Installation was easy. The hardest part was fishing the bolt with the “U” shaped prong welded to it through the hole in the frame. For the second side I used a drill and cleaned the frame hole out which made installing it much easier. I ended up using a long steel bar to manipulate the suspension up and down to seat the rubber bumper, bolted it on and done.
This kit was purchased as I’m mounting a 800+lb (Western pro plus 8’) plow on the truck and I want to eliminate as much front end sag as possible. My plow budget didn’t allow a complete custom front suspension rebuild as the plow is only for home use so I figured this would be the most cost efficient solution. I didn’t take measurements before I installed the Timbren kit but the truck seems to sit a little higher in the front now.
Overall I’m very happy with the Timbren kit and would definitely recommend it and purchasing it from etrailer. Great company selling a great, cost effective product

The Timbren kit after a year is still doing everything I wanted. With the 800lb plow on the ground the measurement to the center of the wheel arch is 36”. With the plow raised the measurement is 35 12”. With spring approaching I will be checking over the front suspension and making sure everything is torqued and check for signs of wear.
