SuperSprings Kit Recommendation for 2011 GMC Sierra 1500
Published 12/05/2017 >
Question:
I want to purchase a set of Superiority for my 4 door regular bed pickup. Im pulling an RV trailer which weights 5500 lbs with a tongue weight of less than 900 lbs. Since it is a Z71 and 4WD, will the SSA5 be enough to handle my load??? Thanks,

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 the SuperSprings Stabilizers part # SSA5 would fit and work well. These will provide an additional 950 lbs of vertical support which will work great with your trailer that has a tongue weight of less than 900 lbs.
You really don't want to go overkill with how much support the supplemental suspension kit provides as it can make the ride very harsh.
