Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Old Man Emu custom steering stabilizer. Now, folks, this is gonna be a custom fit, as I just mentioned. Looks like it fits a lot of different Toyotas, so make sure you're checking the year make and model in our fit guide over at etrailer.com to be sure you're getting the one that fits your specific fitment. Now, if you're not sure about these, what they're gonna do is reduce kickback and steering wheel shimmy, especially over washboards, potholes, rocky trails, those kind of things, they do give you a more predictable feeling. Especially if you have off-road larger tires or aftermarket suspension, these help give you a more stiffer handle of everything.
This is a 15-millimeter piston rod, so it's made to handle that terrain without flexing or fading over time under pressure. And it again is a 35-millimeter bore, the piston inside's 15 millimeter. But this gives you an increased oil capacity, so that's gonna improve the performance and also help with dissipating heat internally as it's compressing and doing everything. And you will get some integrated stone shields built into everything, and that's gonna shield everything from the rod, from rocks and debris rather. And this is a simple bolt-on application.
