Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Hellwig adjustable rear anti-sway bar. Now, this anti-sway bar has been designed to fit your 2014 and newer Toyota 4Runner. So this bar is designed to help minimize side to side movement, improving the overall stability of your 4Runner.

This system will let you execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence. It's gonna give you a level ride even on irregular surfaces, and it's also going to help reduce driver fatigue by minimizing the effort required to keep your 4Runner in line. This is also going to help diminish the effects of passing motorists, shifting cargo and crosswinds that you might encounter. Now, this anti-sway bar does for side to side movement, what a good pair of shocks does for up and down motion, giving you a mark improvement in the overall stability of your 4Runner. And as soon as you get this installed, you will feel the immediate benefits of having this installed.

Hopefully you can see here along the sides, we do have three adjustment holes. Those holes are going to allow you to choose the degree of stiffness that's going to work best for you. For instance, the holes that are closest to the bar are going to be the stiffest setting, and the holes that are farthest from the bar are gonna be the softest. So it gives you that range of adjustability. These bushings are made of polyurethane instead of the standard rubber variety giving you a longer lasting system.

They're durable and they're resistant to damage caused by oil, gasoline, and ozone. So less wear means less given the system and better overall support. The diameter of this bar is 7/8 of an inch. It is made here in the USA of solid heat treated chromoly steel giving you that superior strength. And real briefly, I would like to zoom in overhead here for a closeup.

Hopefully you can get a good view of that finish. This bar does feature a silver vein hammer tone finish, which not only gives you protection from corrosion, but the finish itself actually has little divots in it. So the idea is when you grease your polyurethane bushing and you slide them on the bar, this finish is gonna do a great job of holding that grease in the bushing to prevent them from squeaking. This does include black powder coat finish brackets that are going to hold your bushings in place. And then you are going to receive some hardware here, some fiber type and some lubricant. You're also going to receive a set of instructions to guide you through the installation process. But I think that's gonna wrap up our look today.
