Now, this anti-sway bar has been designed to fit your 2014 and newer Toyota 4Runner. So this bar is designed to help minimize side to side movement, improving the overall stability of your 4Runner.
This system will let you execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence. It's gonna give you a level ride even on irregular surfaces, and it's also going to help reduce driver fatigue by minimizing the effort required to keep your 4Runner in line. This is also going to help diminish the effects of passing motorists, shifting cargo and crosswinds that you might encounter. Now, this anti-sway bar does for side to side movement, what a good pair of shocks does for up and down motion, giving you a mark improvement in the overall stability of your 4Runner. Hopefully you can see here along the sides, we do have three adjustment holes. Those holes are going to allow you to choose the degree of stiffness that's going to work best for you. For instance, the holes that are closest to the bar are going to be the stiffest setting, and the holes that are farthest from the bar are gonna be the softest. So it gives you that range of adjustability. These bushings are made of polyurethane instead of the standard rubber variety giving you a longer lasting system.
They're durable and they're resistant to damage caused by oil, gasoline, and ozone. So less wear means less given the system and better overall support. The diameter of this bar is 7/8 of an inch. It is made here in the USA of solid heat treated chromoly steel giving you that superior strength. And real briefly, I would like to zoom in overhead here for a closeup.
Hopefully you can get a good view of that finish. This bar does feature a silver vein hammer tone finish, which not only gives you protection from corrosion, but the finish itself actually has little divots in it. So the idea is when you grease your polyurethane bushing and you slide them on the bar, this finish is gonna do a great job of holding that grease in the bushing to prevent them from squeaking. This does include black powder coat finish brackets that are going to hold your bushings in place. And then you are going to receive some hardware here, some fiber type and some lubricant. You're also going to receive a set of instructions to guide you through the installation process. But I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. Nice product, e trailer was great, very good service
The sway bar itself is a '5'on my 2025 F150, but the install instructions are all over the place (a '3'). It took me about 5 hours to finish installing it, between the youtube videos and the instructions. I'm sure it would be faster if I did another.
The issue I ran into was some part placement on the axle to work around the brake lines and the best process to level it. Leveling was in the videos, but not in the written directions. Also - when you torque down on the bushings to spec, it squeezes them a bit more that looks "kosher". Some better guidance on that would help.
In all - I did notice an improvement on cornering with/without a load and feel it is a benefit.

It's an amazing improvement over the stock sway bar. I don't see any need to use the outer attachment point. It gives you plenty of bar at the lower setting. The mounting hardware and bushings are much better than the stock attachment bracket and bushings. The truck stays flat in a curve. Bottom line: Just buy it!

Easy installation on Ram 1500 classic 2wd. Took about 1.5 hrs including the test drive. Didn't have to jack the truck up, just crawled under and bolted it in.

I drove my 2013 F150 from Ohio to Florida pulling my 6k travel trailer with WD hitch, and found myself white knuckling every time a car would blow past. The sway bar reduced the trucks roll, which reduced some of the waggle in the back. Overall very happy with the purchase. I would recommend and will put one on my next truck right off the bat.

Nice product However the instructions are terrible! The written instructions have been copied so many times they are basically unusable. The accompanying video left out many important details causing a much longer instal time than necessary. We had to uninstall more than once do to correct the incomplete installation video.
I haven't installed this kit yet, but the quality looks very decent and quality. The kit is complete. The only issue is that I have an 8.8 axle, but the brackets are for a 9.75, however, I think that if I tighten everything down correctly, it should install just fine. Thanks.
I only recently learned my 2023 1500 ram, which includes the tow package, uses a hollow sway bar. Disappointed in Ram.
Using the outer most setting made a significant difference over the original equipment. In fact the difference is so noticeable I’m going to fireplace the front sway bar as well.
I put a really heavy truck camper on my 2017 ram 2500 6.7 hemi and it took turns ok but it would rock side to side a couple times over bumps and uneven roads. I wasn't sure if this would make a difference because the factory one looked pretty big but it made a huge difference. This and airbags are a must for heavy loads.
I also go it a day sooner then I thought.

Solid, sturdy and well built anti-sway bar. I installed it on my 2024 Ford F150 without removing the spare tire and the install went fairly easy. It did take some time as I was.doing it myself. An extra set of hands would make it a bit easier. Love how solid my truck feels and drives now.
I installed the 1 inch adjustable anti-sway bar on my 2026 ram rebel and it works great. Even though I only put it on the least aggressive setting, the truck handle so much better through the turns now that it did before. I will test it to a 7000 pound trailer in the next couple weeks. . This is a heavy duty sway bar. The installation was straight forward and simple.
I used the middle adjustment hole as I wanted to tow an RV. I took it on an initial test drive. This unit completely got rid of the body roll. Well please and know that a little hint, wear gloves when apply the lubricant as that is gooey!

Haven’t towed with it yet so not sure how much it will help the sway with a 31ft travel trailer.

For the second time in a row ordering from etrailer, either parts were missing from my order or shipping was a problem. The sway bar works fine, once I got the right parts to install it.
Upon receiving the box which came on time, I took all the pieces out to make sure I got everything I needed. Two 7/16-20 21/4 inch bolts were missing. I called Hellwig customer support and they promptly sent the replacements. The bolts were not packed with the rest of the installation materials. I also want to say that the top of the box was torn open. Many of the heavy staples had come out. The box inside was torn open and a couple of pieces had slipped out. Also someone trampled over the box because there were boot marks all around the box. Very poor quality in delivery service even though it came on time. Important parts could have fallen out and delayed installation. Not very good delivery service.
When lifting a jeep, body roll, increases due to the mechanical advantage of the chassis over the factory sway bars. This larger and adjustable sway bar helps correct that issue and allows for fine-tuning to driver preference.
Application was a 2015 Tacoma.
Install was easy enough. For others that may read this, it would be wise your spare tire to make certain there is no interference with the sway bar.
I have a 33" spare tire, I had to make new adjustments after I tried to put spare tire back up. Infact, May be wise if you have room to leave the spare tire in and work accordingly.
The install is new, sediments are a bit subjective as to difference. But driving while unloaded I get a bit surprised that the Tacoma tracked really well around a curve. Folks at E- Trailer were great.
I really like the fitment and performance of the product. I have installed a Hellwig anti-sway bar on my last 3 trucks and always feel an improvement the way the truck handles cornering and when pulling a load, especially when there is a cross wind.
