2010 Honda Odyssey

Works great on my 2010 Honda Odyssey. Easy to install if you remove the main bolt of the suspension lower arm (that holds the spring). This is a much better approach than to squeeze the bag between the springs. On an Odyssey, you must first remove the yellow rubber stop bumpers at the top of the springs.
I've attached pictures to show the installed part, the air hose attachments, and a side shot to show the lift I can now achieve with only 24 pounds of air pressure in the bags.
Also, the customer service was outstanding. When I ordered these, Firestone was out of the part. As we waited just under 2 weeks for more to be manufactured, Lexus (not a car; the name of my customer service representative) kept in regular contact with me and was exceptionally courteous and helpful. If you have a minivan that rides low when loaded or towing, I highly recommend these and I am extremely pleased with etrailer.

2009 Honda Odyssey

The product turned out great. It does the job of levelling out our Honda Odyssey quite well while pulling a boat. I'd like to make a recommendation. After the instructional step of drilling the hole in the bottom control arm, I wish there was something that was provided to protect the sharp edges of the hole that the airline runs through. It seems like a very vulnerable spot where the airlines could be severed. Someone needs to design a hole protector sleeve that sits straddled/sandwiched between the air bag and lower control arm that would protect the air lone travelling through. Just my thoughts, otherwise, this is a wonderful product!

2006 Acura MDX

for a 2006 Acura MDX. I wanted some extra lift in order to pull a large pop-up camper (300 lb. tongue weight). I had the springs installed by a local mechanic (install time was approx. 2 hours). Product works great and gives the extra lift that I needed while trailering. I would recommend filling the air springs with a hand pump. With the small volume it is tricky to get just the right amount of air in the system.

2005 Honda Pilot

Installation of the first side was pretty slow and frustrating. The second side went much better. Dealing with the coil springs is always difficult, and I had a hard time getting the coil spring seated properly. Also, determining where to to drill the hole for the airline is difficult. I ended up using a Dremel to get it in the correct spot. Anyways, the air springs seemed to do their job, and adding 20 psi of air raised the back about 1/2". My wife complained about some squeaking coming from the back. Probably from the coil spring not being seated properly. A week after the install, the Pilot was rear-ended and totaled so I can't give any long term advice.

Installed on my '08 Acura MDX, very tight fit, it would work perfectly if air didn't leak out of the connection at the bottom of the bag.
It was a very lengthy install process for me, about 6hrs due to a stuck rear strut bolt that required drilling out. Also, needed an additional person to re-install the coil while holding down the lower control arm and squeezing the coil back into position.
The air leak is easily identified where the air line connects into the bottom of the airbag. I've re-cut the airline multiple times to ensure a perfectly flat end of the tube, and re-connected it. Even had a mechanic check the system, but there's still a slow leak at the connection into the bag.
These airbags seem very sturdy, but this is starting to make me second guess the quality, it seems like that connection is a clear weak point/design flaw.

2005 Honda Odyssey

I'm very happy with this product after installing it on my 2005 Honda Odyssey. The instructions for installation were easy to follow. The stability unloaded is noticable.
I put about 7 lbs of air pressure on each side. I haven't tried it yet loaded, but I believe it will perform as it should. Thanks again etrailer.com great customer service and fast delivery.

2006 Honda Odyssey

to pull an 18ft (total length) popup camper. My van used to bounce pretty good through intersections and would occassionally bottom out on the big bumps. After putting these in, it rides nice and level, and hardly bounces at all, improving the ride for passengers and popup alike. One note, I had them installed at a local shop and he ran the airline so each stem comes out just in front of the rear wheels (through the bottom body panel) to avoid the exhause.

I am mechanically inclined, but these were near impossible to DIY on my 2006 Honda Pilot. Paid a pro to install, both are leaking but I have not checked it out. Not very pleased at this point.

Well I did not expect to have a one year follow up from ETrailer! I’m a 5 Star happy with these airbags over the AirLift 1000’s I had that blew out just after the warranty was up! These bags are more than twice the product, as you can inflate to >60 psi and that makes for a way more steady ride with weight! I typically run mine at around 45 psi now, the AirLift are limited to 28 psi. The construction is far superior and quality is excellent!!!

Other than a slight leak in the driver’s side that is not any fault of the product, this set up has worked extremely well! I’m very happy with these air bags and would highly recommend them over the AirLift1000 bags as there’s no comparison in quality! These Ride Rite bags are worth every penny!!!

I initially ordered the wrong airbags. I called eTrailer and Jeremy H. was very understanding. He got the right ones immediately shipped out and sent me a return label and info while I was on the phone with him. The bags seem good quality comparable to my previous Airlift bags. Chevrolet Avalanche

Phone service was excellent. Air bags helped a lot with stability. I found it easier to remove the spring from the Avalanche than to fight with it in chassis. Removing the spring also gave me a chance to clean the dirt and rocks out of the hose routing area. It was a little more work to drop the axle down but it really wasn't that bad. I was able to do it all without a hoist. Just used two floor jacks. I just let one side down at a time. Remove your swaybar link and shock and let one side down. Pull the spring and do the work in a vise. Its much easier than fighting with it on your back. Also put the air hose in really hot water and it will relax its memory.

2022 Ram 1500

Great Idea - but they won’t hold air, which makes them useless! I knew they would be difficult to install, so I had an experienced auto mechanic who has installed these before to help me. They went in nicely, there were no leaks at the fittings-but they just refuse to hold air. Very disappointing.

Have you tried putting a dishwashing liquid/water combo on the area where the air line joins with the bag? This will make any leaks stand out like a sore thumb. It's extremely important that the air lines are cut precisely at a 90° angle. You can't use angle cutters, because it will crush the air line and it'll always leak....

@MikeL Yes we did the soap/water thing with no obvious leaks and we were very careful about how we cut the air line. I got underneath the truck again and redid the soap/water spray without any obvious signs of a leak! I tightened all the fittings a little more and topped off the air — waited overnight and checked again —— still leaking, but maybe not as bad. In any case, to keep the minimum pressure I’ll have to ad air every morning before I can go anywhere! Not very convenient.

Installer couldn't get them to hold air for more than a day.
And if pressure falls below 5 psi, there's a risk of damaging them.
Installation was difficult.
But they do fix the ride height issue when towing.
If I had it to do over, I'd get Sumo springs.

I bought this set because I was having problems with one of the airbags I previously had gotten. It was on the right side of my forerunner. It had a slow leak. When I replaced the airbag this time it had a very fast leak. I finally found That if I used NAPA Sil-Glyde to insert tube it seems to be holding air. And I squeezed air bag into the spring. Use soap for sliding it in.

I had to take the right rear airbag and deflated it. I took a piece of mudflap about a quarter inch thick and put it on top of the airbag with a hole in the middle of the mudflap piece that gave more clearance between the car and the airbag valve. Now I have had no leaks for a year. With the least 9000 miles of towing and rough terrain.

The airbags were difficult to install on a 2021 Sienna. It required removing the rubber stopper from inside the coil spring. Once that was out, install was easy. However, these need to be installed with the valve down as the plastic spacers fall out when the van is lifted for service when installed right side up as recommended. Upside down the air hose is routed thru the center of the plastic donut spacer which holds it in place when the van is lifted. However, once installed "upside down" the valves tend to pinch on the suspension as they move around. The pinching lets the air out and requires the bags to be frequently repositioned especially after the van is lifted for service. It is a good product, just unreliable and requires much inspection and maintenance to work properly. Will be loading up again for a summer trip and will need to reposition them so they work as I just had the oil changed.

It was more of a challenge getting the air bladder inside the coil on my Rav4 than advertised but got it finally. Luckily I had a vacuum pump for bleeding brakes and that helped suck it down as small as possible. There was no way the bladder would "return to its normal shape" without inserting 5-10 PSI once the top and bottom were within the coil then it unfolded and seated itself just fine. Also the upper protection bumper was not a tight fit on the threaded bolt and wanted to fall off but sticking a 3 inch piece of zip tie between the threads and the bumper did the trick.

I spoke with my contact at Firestone and found out that some models of the 2006 Honda Pilot came with that strut while others did not. Since yours has it you cannot use the Coil-Rite springs # F4179. Since you have that strut, the only suspension enhancement option that will work are SuperSprings Coil SumoSprings, # CSS-1125R. These springs fit in the gaps of the coil spring. The Firestone Air Helper Springs, # F4105, is not the correct part for a 2006 Honda Pilot. It is designed to specifically fit different vehicles so the size and shape is different than what your Pilot requires. You need # F4179 for a 2006 Honda Pilot. First thing you need to do is check your owners manual to determine if your vehicle is rated for use with weight distribution. Some vehicles aren't. Since your hitch is bent I would recommend you have a Honda service department check it out and determine if it can still be used.
