Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Firestone Ride-Rite rear axle double convoluted air helper spring kit. Now, this has been designed to fit your 2013 and current Ram ProMaster, the 1500, 2500, and 3500s. So if you tow a trailer or you carry heavy loads in the back of your vehicle, this system is designed to make the whole experience safer and a whole lot more comfortable. What this basically does is this kit uses these adjustable air springs to help level your vehicle when it's under a load. When you hook up a heavy trailer or you load up the bed or the cargo area of your vehicle, sometimes it can sag. And that sag just doesn't look bad. It can actually affect your steering, braking, and overall control.

So these air springs are going to help lift the rear back up to a level position, which is going to improve handling and reduce strain on your suspension. Now, one of the biggest benefits is improved towing stability. So by leveling your vehicle, that's gonna help minimize trailer sway, it's gonna help absorb road shock. So the result is a smoother, more controlled ride, especially on those rough roads or at highway speeds. Now, this kit has a 5,000-pound load-leveling capacity, meaning it can support up to 5,000 pounds of additional load to help reduce rear suspension strain.

But just keep in mind that this does not actually increase your vehicle's overall weight carrying capacity, so you still need to stay within your manufacturer's recommended weight limits for your vehicle. Another great feature is that these bags are adjustable. You can set the air pressure anywhere between five and 100 PSI, depending on what you're carrying. For lighter loads, you can run lower pressure for a more cushioned ride, but for those heavier loads, you can increase the pressure for firmer support. That progressive load control means it adapts to what you're hauling, instead of giving you a stiff ride all the time.

And I just kinda have 'em loosely put together to kind of give you an idea of what this is going to look like underneath your vehicle, kinda similar to that diagram on the instructions.
