Heavy loads can cause the back of your vehicle to sag and add unnecessary stress to your suspension. This stress not only affects your brakes in a bad way, but your tires, headlight aim and handling suffer as well. To improve your vehicle's ability to endure heavy loads, you need to add support to your existing coil springs.

Air Lift's AirLift 1000 adjustable air springs have 1,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity and are made specifically to fit inside your rear coil spring suspension for additional load assistance. You can inflate and deflate these tough, molded polyurethane helper springs as needed, ensuring the perfect amount of support for every load, every time. Easily level your vehicle front to rear, and if you run dual air lines to the air springs at installation, then you can inflate the springs independently of one another for side-to-side leveling. AirLift 1000 is a breeze to install with standard tools and comes with an easy-to-follow instruction manual.

AirLift 1000 comes with manual inflation valves that are typically mounted on the bumper but can be installed anywhere on your vehicle for easy access. For even more convenience and control, you can add a compressor and gauge system (sold separately), which will let you monitor and automatically inflate your air springs.

Air Lift kits are designed to keep your vehicle at normal ride height. You can find the normal ride height of your vehicle by unloading it and measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and the center of the hub. After you find and record this distance, you can regulate the amount of air that you put into your air springs to maintain normal ride height - even when you are hauling a heavy load. You will need to adjust the air pressure in your air bags according to the size of your load.

Air Lift is positive that you will benefit from their air spring suspension system - so much so that they offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Install and use AirLift 1000 springs for 60 days, and if you are not satisfied at the end of this time, you can remove them from your vehicle and return them for a full product refund.

  • Suspension Enhancement Kits for 2010 Ford Expedition EL
The Air Lift air spring kit # AL61792 that you referenced is definitely a no-fit for your vehicle but we do have suspension helper spring kits for your 2010 Ford Expedition EL that will help to support its stock suspension. SuperSprings offers both a front-axle and a rear-axle coil helper spring for your EL. For a front-axle kit you can use part # CSS-1094F if your Expedition is 4WD. Rear-axle kit # CSS-1168R fits if your EL is 2WD. Installation of these kits is simple. You insert the...

  • Helper Spring Option for 2019 Ford Expedition
Because your Expedition has a coil spring rear suspension, there isn't an air helper spring system available but we do have a helper spring option for your vehicle, though. I'd recommend the Coil Sumo Springs, part # CSS-1168R which is the only option we offer for the 2019 Expedition. The Coil Sumo springs install between the coils of the spring, providing additional support which reduces rear-end sag when towing. It will also reduce body roll in turns

  • Installation Information For Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4134 on 1999 Ford Expedition
You will not need to remove the springs on your 1999 Ford Expedition in order to install the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4134. You will insert the deflated air bags into the coiled springs from the bottom as shown in the graphic I have provided. I have also provided a link to the full installation instructions for this product. These air springs will help reduce tire wear but will not increase your vehicles weight-carrying capacity. The weight capacity of these springs are...

  • Best Way To Remove Rear End Sag On a 2015 Ford Expedition EL XLT When Towing a Travel Trailer
The best product for leveling your 2015 Ford Expedition EL XLT when towing a travel trailer is with a Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37100ET. This will allow you to level your Expedition with the weight distribution and will also give you trailer sway control to make driving safer and less work. This particular hitch system is rated for trailers that have a tongue weight of 600-1,000lbs and a maximum total weight of up to 10,000lbs. An included adjustable shank will allow you...

  • Coil Spring Air Bag Kit Comparison for a 1997 Ford Expedition 4WD
The Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs, # F4134 and the AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs, # AL61792, are essentially the same product. The main differences between the two kits are the included parts. Both kits come with everything needed to complete the installation, but the Airlift 1000 kit includes two additional round air bag supports for the top of the bag. The Coil-Rite kit provides bag supports for the bottom of the bag only. I have attached the installation instructions for...

  • Recommended Rear Suspension Enhancement For 2006 Ford Expedition
I have another option for you, but the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear # AL61792 you were looking at is designed for the 1997-2002 Ford Expedition and will not fit your vehicle. At this time the only rear suspension enhancement available for your 2006 Ford Expedition is the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Front or Rear Axle # CSS-1168 which installs in between the coils of your rear coil springs as you can see in the included...
