Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our spacer kit for the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System. Now folks, when this is installed with that system, it'll look something like this. And it is designed to adapt to your Timbren Suspension Enhancement System, specifically item number TDR2500D, and it's gonna be used usually with a lifted vehicle. Now with this, you can adjust the ride height up to 9 1/4 inches with that kit that's sold separately, and it simply fills the space between the suspension system and the lifted frame. You get two one-inch tall rubber spacers and two half-inch tall rubber spacers, and all the necessary hardware as well.
Now you can mix and match spacers to get the size you need to fit your vehicle. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up. Just a quick look at the spacer kit, again, used in conjunction with item number TDR2500D sold separately. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for watching.
Have a good day.
I have a 2020 Ford F350 4x4 DRW with the factory camper package. The truck's main job is to carry a heavy Lance truck camper. I am close to the 14,000 lbs GVWR about 95% of the time. The main problem I have had is rear squat, which makes it challenging to get the camper level and presents the hazard of dragging the rear bumper when proceeding up an abrupt ramp (like a steep driveway). I put all of this into the Timbren product selector, and the recommended kit was the SES Severe Duty (FRTT350J). When I installed that, I found that I still had a good 2.5" of gap between the Timbrens and my axle. That was obviously going to be insufficient to address my squatting problem.
With the assistance of Timbren, I was directed to this spacer kit. The kit is primarily listed as one for a RAM application, but the fitment is perfect also for the Ford rear Timbrens. I just added these to my installation, and now I am right in the sweet spot of the recommended gap. The SES Severe Duty plus this spacer kit (using both spacers for an additional 1.5") provides perfect clearance in the unloaded condition.
Photos show the Ford OEM bump stop compared to the SES kit (with and without the spacers assembled).
