The top channels accept channel-mount accessories, and you can also clamp on carriers that wrap around the bars. Some channel systems require cutting rubber strips to fit your accessories—this one doesn’t. The split strip design lets you slide mounts right into place without trimming. Once installed, the strips close around the mount to keep things sealed against wind and weather while keeping your setup straightforward and tidy.
For extra peace of mind, you can add Thule’s One-Key System locks (sold separately) to secure both the rack and your mounted accessories. It’s an easy upgrade that helps protect your setup when parked at trailheads or overnight during road trips.

Easy to install, strong product. I only wish I had known it didn't include locks.

The product is exactly as described and works great. What really stands out, though, is E-Trailer itself. I've bought from them many times over the years, and every single order has been handled with remarkable pricing, clear communication, and flawless execution.
While I secured a firm fit on the car, the rubber pads that contacted the car roof did not track the roof line as they should have. In addition, the instruction manual looked like it was written by someone who has never installed this roof rack. The parts were not labeled and the instructions were visual images that lacked a lot of detail and very little written instructions. I have owned several other Thule products in the past and found the instructions and fit to be much more accommodating. The only bright spot was the service I received from Adam S at Etrailer, who went above and beyond in helping me select the proper rack for the car I own. While I am somewhat disappointed in Thule, I would highly recommend using Adam and Etrailer.
Thule makes great products, install is straight forward, and secure on my truck. I used it for carrying long fishing rods for beach fishing.
Is perfect fit but would have liked it better if I could have just ordered and paid for the one item I needed instead of whole set of 4 feet for the repair when I only needed one.
These themselves seem great and solid - I just don't love the way they look hovering above the fit-kit.
Been a month haven’t received them yet they are in stock but guess we are waiting for one item which it’s in stock date gets pushed back every day. And the company doesn’t let the customer know the date changes or when they will send it.

They still hold tight to a roof storage bin that's completely filled and winds from going 65+ on the highway a year later.
One year in, this fit kit and the whole system have worked very well on my Kia EV6.
I miss the simplicity, in terms of cost as well as installation and removal, of the old Thule rectangular-bar racks, but this system looks better, is quiet, won't sag, and seems more robust.
This "fit kit" from THULE does not impress me much. It does not sit flush with the roof rails of my 2021 Toyota highlander, doesn't really line up with the openings on the flush mount rails, and only attaches to the vehicle via one bolt at each of the 4 mounting locations. In that sense it's inferior to even the OEM toyota roof rack mount.
