Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this K Source replacement side view mirror. This is gonna be a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your 2004 through 2008 Acura TL. This is modeled after the Acura's original look and fit, so you really shouldn't be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror. It should look like it came with your Acura right from the factory, so you won't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard sort of look. Everything's gonna be fully integrated and look really nice together and it is going to have the same footprint and mounting points as your original mirror.

So, you're not gonna have to do any drilling to get this installed. It's gonna be very easy. Just basically take your original mirror off, unplug it, get this one plugged in its place and then get this mounted using that same footprint. It's very simple to get installed, and then, it's going to give you that power remote capability, so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. It's also going to have the heated mirror glass to help clear frost and ice and reduce fogging.

It's also going to work with your memory function in your vehicle, so your car's computer will recognize the preset mirror positions and it does have that blue tinted lens that's gonna help reduce glare. This is an OE grade product. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, so it is going to give you a nice clear image. It is a convex lens like most passenger side mirrors, so it is going to provide that wider angle view to help reduce your blind spots. It's a, does have a breakaway design, so if you we're to run into the side of your garage or a parking post or something like that, the mirror is gonna fold in to help absorb some of that impact and deter breakage, but it does have a durable plastic housing with a black finish.

Now, this can be painted to match your vehicle, give it a even more integrated look if you so choose, but for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is gonna work for you, this is going to be a replacement for the original equipment numbers that you see on the screen there.
