Hey everybody, Jarrod from etrailer.com. Today, I want to take a quick look at the Steele Rubber products, rubber bulb seal for your RV slide-out. This is a one-inch width by 60-foot length product. It is used to prevent water from leaking onto you and pests from gaining access to the slide out of your RV. The seal is typically found on the inside edge of your slide-out outer wall and it slides onto the track and seals against the camper wall, or slide-out wiper when the slide-out is retracted. This design helps prevent collapse when it's compressed and it allows for greater surface contact.
Now it works with these stick-on wiper seals. Any of these options will work fine, they are an extra layer of protection. If you take a look at the dimensions, we know that this is a 60-foot length and it is that one-inch width. Now the rubber seal is highly wear and weather-resistant, it is made in the USA, a standard of quality you know and trust. Worked out great….
Our 12 year old class a motorhome super slide was leaking. Our first plan of attack was replace the bulb seal. Ordered from e trailer. Installed it. Slide still leaked. Took it to the local rv repair center. They recommend resealing the roof and all seams on the rv. That solved our issue. They did say the new bulb seals were installed properly and doing their job. Reason for all this is to say we had no idea how to replace them but the product performed well and we completed that part of the repair on our own.

The seal fit a little loose on the track. However it works. Shipping box was is in bad shape but the seal was not damaged.
I’m still installing rubber seals on slide out. Product is superior. However, installation videos should show people doing the actual work, not just talk about quality and dimensions of product. Rubber is hard to slide in tracks. You should recommend a lubricant or demonstration to allow a smoother installation.
The service was great and the bulb seal is much more stout, than the ones that came as original equipment.

These feel very durable and offer a great seal when the slide is closed.
The seal is good as the oem seal it will replace. I will replace the outer slide out seals on my RV. It solved the split seals after 14 years of service on my RV.
I have bought multiple purchases from etrailer All the parts have met expectations. I am very pleased with the products supplied. At the end of the purchase they have multiple gender options. There are only 2 genders I will not buy another part due to I am no bowing down to this ideocracy. The end
So far so good! The original rubber seal on my Keystone Springdale lasted 14 years. Unfortunately I replaced it with an inexpensive seal that was thin and flimsy and literally only lasted months. As soon as I opened the box from e-trailer I could tell their seal was far superior. The construction is thicker and far more solid. Time will tell but I have high expectations based on the quality of rubber and design.
