Question:

This is for a 20 year old KZ 5th wheel. My current slide out seals are 4 1/16inch to 4 3/4inch wide and the wiper portion is made of 3/8inch foam rubber. When the slide is brought in, they fold inward, then fold out when the slide is moved out. This SR66FR seal appears to be the same size and shape, but much thinner. I dont know what type of plastic it is made from. Will it fold in and out the same as my current foam rubber seals? 2 pictures of my current seals are attached. Is this seal Steele-Rubber/SR66FR.html stiff rubber or soft?

The Rubber Wiper Seal for RV Slide Out - Stick On - 60' Long x 4-1/16" Wide Item # SR66FR is made of EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) dense rubber. It will fold in an out as your slide out moves and has some stiffness to it to wipe the slide out down as it extends and retracts.

The # SR66FR is usually paired with a bulb seal like Rubber Bulb Seal for RV Slide Out - 60' x 1" Tall Item # SR89FR to prevent water from leaking into the slide-out on your RV.
