Body roll can make any rig feel unstable in turns or during sudden lane changes. This rear anti-sway bar ties the frame to the rear axle with a thick 2" 4140 chromoly steel bar that’s built for serious torsional stiffness. That extra diameter and stronger alloy mean it resists twist better than standard steel, keeping the vehicle flatter and more controlled through corners and quick maneuvers.

Crosswinds and passing traffic don’t have to knock you off your line. This setup connects the rear axle and chassis to balance weight transfer as the vehicle shifts, cutting out side-to-side sway. The result is steadier tracking on the highway and far less steering correction when conditions get unpredictable.
A steady, level ride takes the stress out of long hauls. By minimizing body roll and sway, this bar keeps the rig planted even on uneven pavement or gusty roads. The steering stays consistent, the body stays level, and you finish the drive without feeling worn out.
Instead of soft rubber, the bar uses polyurethane bushings that shrug off oil, gasoline, and ozone. They stay tight and supportive over time without squishing out or cracking. The complete setup includes Loctite and all the mounting hardware, so it goes on cleanly with no drilling required and stays solid mile after mile.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar. This bar is going to mount to the rear axle into the frame of your vehicle to help minimize side-to-side movement, improving the overall stability of your vehicle. This bar will let you execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence, giving you a level ride even on irregular surfaces, and it's going to help reduce driver fatigue by minimizing the effort required to keep your vehicle in line. It's also going to help diminish the effects of crosswinds, passing motorists, and shifting cargo. This anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement what a good pair of shocks does for up and down motion, giving you a marked improvement in your vehicle's stability.
Now this is designed to fit the 2018 and newer Tiffin PowerGlide, and this is going to work in conjunction with your Tiffin PowerGlide suspension system. This anti-sway bar acts as a link between your vehicle's frame and its rear axle, using the axle as a brace to more effectively balance the shifting weight of your vehicle as you maneuver it. It has been engineered to avoid interference with most popular aftermarket add-ons and accessories. The diameter of the bar itself is two inches, and this is made here in the USA of 4140 chromoly steel for superior strength. By the way, this type of steel is considerably harder and stronger than your standard 1020 steel that is typically used in anti-sway applications.
In addition, the larger diameter of the bar is going to increase the torsional roll stiffness. So this includes everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to get your anti-sway bar. You're going to get a small vial of Loctite to apply to the factory nuts and bolts during the installation. And speaking of installation, you are going to get a set of really good instructions to walk you through the installation process.
This does have a limited lifetime warranty, and I just wanted to mention that this bar is pretty heavy. It's very heavy for me, and I'm not necessarily a strong guy but I did need help to get this on the table. So keep that in mind. During installation, you might want some help to help you mount this and maybe hold onto it while you are installing this. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today.
I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

I have taken a few trips with the Clatter Cabin now. It’s been enjoyable to drive. Since then I have replaced the exhaust from the engine back with 2 12 inch pipe. I was able to get the pre bent exhaust parts over the axle and clear your rear sway bar nicely. Now she purrrrs!

Install looks great Steven! I can't wait for you to take it out for a spin so you can see the difference for yourself, it is amazing what a upgraded sway bar does to your ride, no more white knuckles for you, or your wife. What big stops do you have planned on your trip to the West Coast?

What I recommend is touching it up with a rust resistant paint like Rustoleum. We will be in contact with you about the damage. Please keep an eye on your email.

After a year and many miles I would give it a five star for sure. Made a great improvement over the stock anti-sway bar. With the rear and front RoadMaster anti-sway along with the RoadMaster steering stabilizer the E-450 33 foot class C motorhome drives like a dream. I highly recommend these three products. If not all at once then this order, 1st rear anti sway bar then 2nd front and then the steering stabilizer with the spring on it.

Sounds like a much smoother drive, Riley! I looked up your camper to see how tall it is and I can see exactly why its called a Bigfoot. What's been your favorite place you've traveled to so far with the camper?

The two Roadmastercsway bars weve been using continue to impress and perform like they did on day one. Driving back across the country with some days having stiff criswinds continually we rode comfortably and never had handling or steering issues. I remain adamant that these are undoubtedly the best products on the market for this application and welcome any questions. For reference my truck is a 2018 F350 crew cab DRW, 6.7 diesel 4x4 long bed with Bigfoot 3000 series truck camper. Get the Roadmasters!

This is a complete game changer when using a truck camper Mine is an Arctic Fox 990. I would list this under a must have accessory when using a truck camper. Unloaded ride when you hit off camber bumps is slightly rougher, but hey its a Ram 3500 dually for hauling heavy stuff. Also the performance when carving twisty canyons with an empty truck is astonishing....Watch out Corvetts, here I come!
