Few upgrades change the feel of a big rig like a solid rear bar. This one uses a 1-3/4" diameter 4140 chromoly steel bar that ties the rear axle to the chassis, balancing weight transfer and cutting down on side-to-side rocking through corners and lane changes. The result is tighter handling and a more planted, predictable ride when the road starts to twist.
Wind gusts and passing traffic don’t have to mean a white-knuckle grip anymore. By limiting sway, the bar keeps the rear of the vehicle from wagging and helps the whole setup track straighter. It minimizes how much correction you need to make through crosswinds or sharp transitions, so you stay relaxed and in control mile after mile.
This setup isn’t made from run-of-the-mill steel. The bar’s 4140 chromoly alloy is much stronger than common 1020 steel, and its larger diameter adds torsional stiffness for better resistance to sway. Polyurethane bushings take the place of standard rubber, resisting oil, gasoline, and ozone so they don’t squish out or wear down quickly. That means less give, better support, and long-term durability.
You don’t need to modify anything to get the benefits. The bar bolts directly to the rear axle and frame using the included heavy-gauge mounting hardware, with lubricant for the bushings to keep everything moving freely. No drilling required—just solid parts engineered to work with most suspension upgrades for a clean, bolt-on fit.

This was a great upgrade for our 2022 Newmar Bay Star. We had our local Ford dealership complete the install. HUGE difference in driving
they have taken almost all of the sway out of our motorhome. Especially when we pass or a tractor trailer truck passes us. I won't have another motorhome without this item
Have only taken a short test drive . But seems better not as much rocking side to side ! Would have been better as far as shipping goes , if the grease was in something else so it did not get broken open ? It gets on everything including the instructions !

This anti-sway bar was fairly easy to install especially with the installation video and made an amazing improvement in the handling of our 2023 Jaco Alante motor home. I thought it would make an improvement but never dreamed it would improve the handling as much as it did.
The Anti-Sway Bar drastically improved the control and ride of our 2015 Winnebego F-35 on a Ford F53 chassis. Prior to having these installed, the sway was almost uncontrollable. Afterwards, the ride and control of the unit is perfect. Really glad we purchased these and had them installed. Thanks.
