Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Thetford Porta Potti 365 Portable Camping Toilet. This portable travel toilet is going to be great for camping, RVing, boating, and other outdoor activities. This is going to be ideal for campers or vans that don't have a bathroom. Now the 5.5 gallon holding tank is going to detach for easy dumping, and I'm gonna show that to you in just the next minute or so.

But I do wanna give you some overall dimensions just so you can be confident right at the offset of our time together here that this is going to work for you. So let me measure the overall height first. Lining this up here, we're probably just right about the tallest point here. So it looks like the overall height. We're sitting pretty close to 16, and a quarter inches tall.

And while we're in this position, let me measure the depth for you. So measuring front to back, we are sitting pretty close to 16 and three quarters inches deep. And then looking at the width, looks like we're right at about 15 inches wide. Now this is for the size, a relatively lightweight porta potty. It's about a little over 11 pounds.

Of course, that's when it's completely empty as it is now. This does have a weight capacity of 265 pounds, and this is going to hold enough water for about 565 flushes. So taking a look overhead here, let me open up the lid, and the seat there just so you can get a view. And this lid and seat can be easily removed when you want to do a real thorough cleaning. So you have a really good view here overhead.

This is going to be a simple setup. You're just going to fill the tank with water right here. So you take this cap off, fill it up with fresh water, and then you will go ahead and pressurize it with this built in piston pump. And then when you're ready to flush, you're just going to use this piston pump, and that is going to fill this bowl with water. So it's going to fill it up, and as it's filling up, they're going to clean the inside of that bowl. And then when you're, and then when it has enough water in there, then you're just going to pull this front mounted handle out, that's gonna open up that valve, and that's going to allow the contents to flush into the holding tank. So giving you another overhead view, you really can't see that valve opening just because, not enough light, and it's kind of hard to see anyway. But you fill that up with water by again using the piston pump. And then once you have enough water in there, you just open up or pull forward our handle, that'll empty the contents into the holding tank. And then you'll push that handle in to close that valve, and keep leaks and odors from escaping. So very easy to use. While we're here, I do wanna show you that we have a tank level indicator that's going to let you know when it's time to empty the holding tank. And then the top is going to detach easily from the tank for easy disposal. And so you see our lever here. So I'm just going to move that over, and then that's going to allow me to remove the top, just like that. So there's our holding tank, and this is going to make it very easy to transport this either to a bathroom with a toilet obviously. So you could dump it in there or to a dumping site. I did wanna point out that we have a handle here, so it's going to be very easy to transport this to your dumping destination. And then we do have this long rotating spout that is going to allow you to keep the waist off of your hands. So when you're ready to dump this, you're just going to remove this cap, and the instructions indicate that this is going to be the best way to dump it is like this. And if you notice we have a button here, and that's a venting button. So that'll allow that waste to flow more freely when you are dumping this into a another toilet or at your dumping site. This does rotate in this way as well. And you, keep in mind too, you might wanna get some additives or some solutions to fight odor in the tank. I would recommend taking a look at that. Thetford carries quite a few options, and we do carry those options here at etrailer.com. When you're done dumping, you do wanna replace this cap. And when you have this cap on tightly, you're not gonna have to worry about this leaking. This cap has a a gasket on the inside there, so you're not gonna have to worry about this leaking as long as the cap is on tightly here on the spout, and as long as that valve is closed. And this is of course where the toilet is going to sit, and empty into that holding tank. So when you open up, pull this handle out, that's gonna open up that valve there that I showed you earlier. So as long as this is closed, and the cap is on here, you're not gonna have to worry about this leaking when you're carrying this. And then to replace the top, it's going to be very simple. Just gotta match this up here. I'm gonna come around the front, and do that so I can see. And then just like that, we're back in business. I have to say, I'm really impressed with the build quality on this. Very durable. It doesn't feel flimsy, it feels very solid. As you notice, it's a gray and white color. Instructions are also included to guide you through just going through this in a little more detail than what we are able to cover today.
