Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Rooftop Box for your Furrion 50-watt RV Solar Panel Battery Maintainer. Now, this rooftop cable entry box is designed to give you a clean, secure way to route your solar panel wiring through the roof of your RV, camper or other vehicle. So, instead of running wires through an exposed opening, this box is gonna give you a protected entry point that's gonna help keep your insulation neat and weather-resistant. This is built with an IP65-rated housing, which means it's designed to resist dust and water exposure. It's gonna help protect your wiring connections from the elements.
And this box accepts both the positive and negative wires coming from your solar panel's junction box. That's gonna keep your connections organized as they pass into the interior. And since this is installed on the roof, this is made from UV-resistant materials. That's gonna help prevent fading and deterioration from constant sun exposure over time. Let me give you some measurements here just so you have a good idea of the size and you can be confident this is going to work for you.
So, looking at what I'm calling the overall length, just from end to end, we're sitting right at about 5 1/8 inches. The width here at the widest point, about 3 5/8 inches. And what I'm calling the height here, pretty close to 1 3/4 inches. But installation should be relatively straightforward. You can mount it using a compatible adhesive sealant for a no-drill installation or secure it with standard number eight RV button-head screws.
So, that hardware and sealant is not included with this, but you can find those options here at etrailer. One thing to keep in mind is that this is only for the rooftop wiring entry box. It doesn't include anything else. But I think it's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name's Andy, thank you for joining me.
