Features to know about

Sofa to Bed in Simple Steps

Fold out in simple steps

When family or friends stay over, you don't need a complicated setup, a blow-up mattress, or piles of cushions lying around the floor. Many traditional sleepers make you strip the seat cushions to pull the bed out, but this one doesn't. Lift the base, unfold the legs, and fold the backrest flat. The seat cushions stay put, the back cushions double as a headboard or pillows, and there's nothing extra to stash away.

Back cushions become a headboard or pillows

You'll get 5" of supportive padding and no hard bars digging into your back. It won't roll you and your sleeping partner into a taco overnight (we've all been there), and if your pup curls up at the end, the feet won't sag. In the morning, the bed folds back into a sofa without a struggle and you'll have your seating back in no time. That's one less chore on travel mornings and one more reason your guests will sleep well.

Carry-In and Setup

Minimal assembly required

Narrow RV doors shouldn't keep you from upgrading your space. This loveseat ships in sections you can carry through your door and assemble inside. Before you order, measure your doorway and the spot where it will unfold. The overall depth of this sofa is 33-1/4", and when disassembled, the arm height is just 21-1/4" tall, so it's narrow enough to fit through most RV doors. Once you place your new loveseat, you'll have room to move, open your fridge, and enjoy a modern, upgraded living area.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today, we're looking at our Thomas Payne Trifold RV Loveseat. This one's gonna measure 67 inches wide, and it's a nice Hernandez Seal color is what the manufacturer is calling it. So I would call it more like a dark gray, graphite, something of that nature. Now, this is also neat because it's not only just a loveseat, but it also folds out to a tri-fold sofa, and it's gonna be a simple, easy three-step process to get you some additional sleeping space in your RV or camper.

So let's take a quicker, closer look, rather, at this. So as you can see, you've got great cushions. (fingers tap) You've got great padding and everything. These simply pull off. It's a simple hook and loop is what holds them in place.

And let's get you a closer look at that, so you can see the cushion. Keep in mind the lighting in the studio's gonna change the way this color looks. We'll just bear with that. It is a very nice comfortable back rest, if you will. And as I mentioned, you can see the hook and loop back here on the back.

I do want to zoom in from the top down just so you can kind of see that a little closer as well. And the color in kind of lighting straight down. And as I mentioned, this has a foldout bed. So it's very simple to use and operate. So I do wanna go over some measurements before we get this fully folded out with you.

So as I mentioned before when we started, 67 inches long overall. Now, we get a lot of questions from customers, neighbors over the years, different kind of measurements. So I'm gonna try to roughly give you the best dimensions I can. Keep in mind some of this stuff has cushion that can, you know, compress. So these are just gonna be rough estimates or rough measurements, if you will. The height with those cushions back in place, I got 37 inches from the height of those to the ground. The width on the side is roughly 33 1/4 inches wide. The seat depth with the cushion on here from where your legs would touch the front to the back to where you start touching that first cushion is roughly 21 inches back. And the bed length when it's fully laid out is gonna be 70 inches. And then here's how you do that. You simply lift up on the bottom and right here you can see you've got a foldout leg here, another foldout support leg on that side. Now, when you open this, you're gonna see a couple holes here on both sides. That's one height adjustment. So some slide outs, if you pull 'em out, you're gonna need to raise or lower the leg depending on your particular setup to get this level in your camper or RV. And the neat thing is once you get set the first time, you shouldn't have to change that, and it's just a couple pins that you pull. You get a hinge here, a hinge on the other side. There's two bolts on each side that hold that in place. Those normally come already installed in the frame as far as the bolts, but the back rest will not be installed. And that's important because you're probably gonna have to get this inside of your coach, camper, RV, or whatnot, and then install it inside to get it through the doors. So take those measurements. And then you just simply fold the back down. So it's pretty super simple as far as getting everything laid out. Once again, 70 inches long overall. I am against the wall right now. There's roughly maybe a 1/2 inch to an inch of space between the back of this to the wall. So you could potentially put those headrest cushions back here. But keep in mind, that's gonna shorten the length of your usable space for lying down. And as I mentioned folks, these are really easy to install and use. Pull the back up, come over here, pull the front up, pull the legs back in, lay it down, and it's that simple. And then of course, take your two headrest cushions and just put them back in place. And once again, that hook and loop is gonna hold them in place, giving you a nice loveseat again. And before I go, you do see these kind of kick pad, what I'm calling 'em, kick pad covers there. You can take them off, it's up to you, or you can leave 'em on if you want some kind of protection and stuff from shoes, debris, those kind of things. Totally up to you. Well folks, I think that's gonna wrap up our look together at this Thomas Payne Trifold Loveseat. I'm Steven with etrailer. Reach out if you have any questions about this or any other product and have a great day.
