It's compatible with Lippert component screen doors. It installs quickly and easily into the inner channel of your screen door frame. So, this bar goes across the width of the actual door. This piece, this ribbon connects to the framing that goes around the screen door.
So, whenever this is pulled, it's attached to an internal spring. So, what that does is it always wants to bring the bar back and so, that is how this operates as an automatic screen door closer for your RV.It's available for door frame widths ranging from 22 inches to 30 inches. All you need to do is measure the inside dimensions of the door frame edge to edge and round up to the nearest even holed number and select the screen door closer that's appropriate for your application. Delivery was what I expected, but ordered wrong size. Measured screen size instead of door frame size. Reordered
I am very happy with this door closer. It works quite well and alleviates having to always turn around and close the screen or accidentally leaving it ajar.
Not happy. Actual 26" only measures 24" so does not fit screen door. Now we have to order 30". NOT HAPPY we have to order another. We expected to get a true 26" length.
