Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Lippert replacement controlled motion hinge for your RV entry doors. Now this is going to replace or upgrade one existing hinge on your RV's Lippert entry door. And this does feature that controlled motion technology that's going to hold the door open in any position and it's tested to withstand wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour. So as I'm sure you're aware, these hinges do not move very like easily, like a normal hinge does. It does take some pressure to move the hinges, so I'm sure you're aware of that though since you're looking for these.
So this is a five leaf design and this kind of gives you an idea of how this will be installed. And this, as you can see, these do come in a white color, but we do also have these in black. So if you're looking for black 'cause that'll go better with your door rather than white you can just take that part number, model number that you see there on your screen, pop it in the search field of our website. That'll take you to the black version of these and you can order those instead if that's gonna go better with your setup. This does include hardware and for the white ones here, the screws are actually tipped, the heads are tipped and white and they have a square, a square hole in the head of those.
So you'll have the hardware that you need to install these. These are very durable. I think they'll hold up really well for you. But I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.

Although quite expensive for a hinge, it corrected my problem. When I acquired my 3025 Wolf Pup 16FQthe hinge was slightly bent and quickly got worse. The new hingefit perfectly and resolve the bonding.

My old door hinges started to freeze up. These are almost identical to the previous ones and replaced them just fine. NOTE: You only need one of the hinges on your door for motion control and use the regular non-motion hinges for the other two. Door is much smoother as a result.
Product works great. Only thing would be if they would include the standard hardware required to mount to the trailer. Other than that great customer service, and fast shipping.

It's not exactly the same configuration as the original part and had to redrill holes for the screen door. Also the price seems a bit high for a door hinge. Other than that it seems to be working well after a year of use.
Have to grind off the rivets to replace hinge, after installing it doesn’t have the restriction factory hinge had
In fairness, I wasn’t sure how to rate the hinge since it ended up not fitting my RV (2005 Winnebago) screen door. Also I had previously ordered what appeared to be the same identical hinge from [online], but that one did not have friction control like the etrailer version. Basically my screen door needs a different hinge solution (if there is one???). Bottom Line: had more detailed dimensions been available it would have saved me $XX for shipping??
The new hinges are still working smoothly and evenly. Not sure why the old hinges got bound up but these hinges seem to be a bit of a better design.

It is probably a good product but unfortunately it doesn’t fit our door. It is to short in length and the arms are way to small.
Not an exact replacement for my old hinge from a 2020 Lance 1995 but it does fit. You may want to measure the length of the old one if you require the exact part. The hinge is easy to install once you drill or grind off the rivets to remove the old one. The screw pattern is reversed from my old hinge and the hinge is slightly shorter.As usual etrailer has great service and shipping was pretty prompt though it was out of stock when I ordered it. It came a few days earlier than promised and that was a good thing. I will likely just put rivets in the exposed holes to clean it up.
I received regular hinges, not motion controlled hinges - there was no friction when turning the hinge to stop a door.
Perfect fit for replacement
Broken old hinge out. New one in. Works like a charm. A little bit of work to remove the original. Ground rivets off and pried off original hinge. Installed new bracket with self tapping screws.
the lady at etrailer was very helpful in selecting this replacement door hinge. It was easy to install. The door closes easily. If your RV door won't close easily,check the hinge. It doesn't have to be bent much , to cause problems. It's not cheap, but you save money by doing the job yourself.
