Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Specialty Recreation universal replacement RV skylight in a nice white color. It fits an 18-by-30-inch rough opening. So folks, I wanna make sure that you get that 18-by-30-inch rough opening measurement. More importantly, it is five inches tall. Overall, from edge to edge, I get 33-1/2 inches long.
And as far as the width, I get right at 21-1/2 inches wide. So again, that's the actual exterior dimensions. As you'll note, this is made of a nice durable polycarbonate. It's UV resistant and also impact resistant. It can take a lot of abuse.
As you can see, I'm pushing down pretty hard, and it just pops right back up in place. So you shouldn't have to worry about hail, impacts, those kind of things. One also thing to note is that you get the pre-drilled holes. A lot of other brands out there don't do the pre-drilled holes. You can see it's a white translucent color, and that material is gonna diffuse light but also reduce glare and stuff.
It's gonna make it a great replacement for a damaged or worn skylight on your RV, camper, or maybe even enclosed trailer. Now, screws are not included, but it is made here in the US, has a nice one-year warranty from the manufacturer. They also include an SR140. This is their sealant. It is made specifically to work with polycarbonate.
I wanna make sure that you know, do not use self-leveling sealant with polycarbonate skylights because they can break down through the chemical compounds in the polycarbonate. So this, again, is what you wanna use, the SR140 that's included by Specialty Recreation. It's made and it's safe for install with their product. Well, folks, again, a nice product made here in the US. This fits an 18-by-30-inch rough opening. This is the universal replacement skylight in white. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
