Video Transcript for Review of RV Designer RV Light Switch - Single Contoured Wall Switch Brown - RD72VR

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at these RV designer single contour wall switches, either in black, white, or brown. So on your screen at the time of the recording of this video, we carry this particular switch in three different colors, so whichever one you want, either the black, the white, or the brown one, just take the appropriate part number that you see there on your screen. Pop it in the search field on our website, that will take you to the color option that you're looking for and you can add that to your order. But overall, this is gonna be a straightforward wall-mounted on off switch that's designed for simple control of a single electrical circuit. So I just kind of have the pieces loosely put together here, just to kind of give you an idea of what this is going to look like when you have this mounted.

This uses a basic single pull, single throw configuration, which means it functions as a standard switch that either allows power to flow or cuts it off. Nothing complicated, just reliable on off operation. So the switch features a contoured wall style design that's gonna be easy to use. It's gonna blend well with most interiors, depending on the color that you choose, it's gonna work best for you. So, as I mentioned, you're gonna have this available in black, white, or brown.

So you're gonna be able to choose the finish that's gonna best match your decor or existing switch panels. Installation's gonna be pretty easy because the kit includes just about everything that you need. And the only thing that this doesn't come with is going to be the hardware to get this installed in place, the screws. So if you don't already have the screws, you would just have to pick those up separately. And then the plate, the cover plate will just snap onto our frame here.

Let me find my ruler, give you some rough measurements here. So looking at what I'm calling the height from top to bottom, we're gonna be sitting right at about, let's say that this is about two and seven eighth inches tall. I know I'm kind of measuring this from the wrong direction. And then the width, and I'm doing the plate here, 'cause this is gonna be the widest and the tallest, let's say one and seven eighth inches if I'm seeing that correctly. And again, whichever color is going to work best for you, you can just take the appropriate part number, or maybe you want all three of these in different colors.
