Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Power Grip Marine-Style Power Cord Adapter. Now, this is an 18-inch long power cord adaptor that lets you convert your RV's marine-style plug to work with a standard power source, so the female end connects to your RV's or boat's marine-style 50 amp power plug. The male end plugs into a 50 amp standard power source or receptacle. Here on the female end, we have the threaded locking ring which helps to create a weatherproof connection point. Now, on the male end, we have a built-in handle on the connector which makes unplugging the cord really quick, really easy, pretty much effortless. You also notice it has a 90-degree design to it which really helps reduce the amount of strain placed on the terminals or the connection point.Also, right here, you will notice that there is an LED on the male end which gives a visual confirmation that power is actually running through the adaptor.
Feels like a really nice heavy duty design. The sleeve right here or the jacket that goes over the wires, nice thick design, but still allows a little bit of flexibility, and then we got really nice heavy duty connector heads on each end of the adaptor. That's going to do it for today's look at the Power Grip Marine-Style Power Cord Adaptor.

This 90 degree plug works great it keeps from putting stress on your cord that plugs into the camper.
Really like this pigtail for my Solitude S- Class 3640GK . The one thing I did not like about the cord Grand Design sends with its units is that there is a lot of pressure on both the outlet and the plug as pictures will show . Only thing I would suggest is the the plug be all black
This does all that I hoped for. It’s a solid connection to the 5th wheel. It doesn’t torque the connection with the weight of the cord sticking straight out,
It will take the stress off the main electrical connection to the trailer.
I got this to take the stress off the connections from the hose diameter 50 amp cord. It appears to be very heavy duty and it's nice to have the cord drop straight down instead of sticking straight out and then curving down.
Just received the adapter and haven't had a chance to use it yet. But I've wanted one of these for a long time now as the 50 amp plug sticks straight out from the receptacle. Always thought this was a dumb design as it puts a lot of stress on the plug and cord. The prices are starting to look more attractive so I decided to bite the bullet and get one.
The elbow connector is doing it’s job. Much easier to connect to the side of our travel trailer than the straight cord connection that came with it. Extends the original cord by 2 feet and relieves the stress on the connection on the side of the trailer. Working well
Concept is great. When plugging into RV, turning to lock the connection was very tight, so much so that I was concerned about breading the prongs on my trailer connection. Eventually, with firm consistent turning pressure it rotated into the locked position. Hopefully this will get easier. If not, I will discontinue use due to fear of breaking locking prong on trailer.

it works but not how I need it to. It Might work for you depending on your trailer Plug-in. It comes off of Mine at the 9 o'clock position instead of going straight down. I'm in search of one that allows my cord to go straight down from the trailer . On my original plug the silver is at the 12 o'clock position. On the adapter plug the silver is at the 9 o'clock position. I need to find an adapter that has the silver at the 12 o'clock position.
Part arrived with a cracked thread ring. Contacted etrailer that day and replacement ring was sent out that day. Received new ring promptly and installed with out issues. Great customer service. Highly recommend
