Today we're going to be taking a look at the HTS heavy duty RV sewer hose with a pre-attached bayonet fitting, 15 feet in length, part number cam39691. This sewer hose allows you to drain your RV's black water tank at a dump station. It has a pre-attached bayonet fitting that provides a simple and secure hook up to your RV. The other end of the sewer hose is open. As you can see here there's not a fitting so that you can connect additional hoses for added length with the Camco Hose adapter part number cam 39203 or if you wanted to use this end to connect it to your dump station, you can use the easy slip sewer elbow, part number cam 39144 or if you want to connect the end of the hose directly to the dump station without using the elbow you can just use the hose seal, part number cam39313. This hose basically allows for any application that you have, whether it is adding an extension onto an existing hose or transferring your waste from your RV to a portable transfer tank or directly from your RV to your dump station. The 15 foot hose compresses down to 27 inches for compact storage.
You can see here, it's just compress and then throw it into a storage compartment in your RV. The diameter of the hose is three inches, so it fits all standard sewer hose fittings. The high tensile strength of the vinyl minimizes the risk for pin holes and leaks caused by everyday use and transport. The core of the hose, you can see these ridges here, is a steel wired core which is going to add extra strength and durability. You can see it has a piece of wire sticking out here.Kind of show you that it's super strong and durable. Now, over here at the waste tank of our camper, we'll simply pop off the cover.
Before popping off the cover please remember to make sure that you're pipes are closed off so nothing leaks out onto you. Now here, we have the standard three inch diameter bayonet fitting which is going to go around the standard three inch diameter lug fitting. Simply slide it over using the tabs and then just lock into place. See, we have a nice strong fitting here, it's not going to allow any leakage or drips and what we'll do, the other end here will allow us to attach another fitting that will accommodate whatever dump site you'll be dumping at, whether it's a standard slip on into the dump station or if it has threads you can just attached that adapter here and fit it right into the dump station. This sewer hose seems to be more robust than the previous ones i've bought in the last two months, all of which developed pinholes and major leaks within several days. This one has an inner and an outer layer which sandwich the wire core. One of the fittings slid right into place, the other was a bit more of a challenge. However- perseverance made it fit. I used a piece of 4" PVC sewer pipe as a sheath to protect the hose in it's traffic area - where the big dogs play. so far - it's working like a champ.

I actually had a shipping error on my order. I called costumer service and they immediately took care of the issue. The parts i bought have functioned and fit great. I would recommend etrailer for all of your trailer parts needs.
My original had developed holes in the vinyl around the hose clamp. When I tried to cut outhole and replace clamp vinyl tore again. Decided vinyl was deteriorating and needed new hose. This fits perfectly. Hopefully will have many years of service

The guality is good. The bad part is that it didn’t fit in my canister. I think I can cut a couple inches off and it will be fine. The customer service when I ordered it was excellent and that is why I chose this company.

Sorry to hear it didn't quite fit, Faye. This can definitely be cut down if you need to make it shorter, just make sure to do so in as straight a line as possible. Not something you want leaking! What kind of camper are you using this with?
